DH is planning on taking dd to a get together with some of his buddies tomorrow, by himself. He has no idea what he is in for. He has maybe had her out of the house by himself for like 30 -40 minutes tops. I'm excited because he is finally going to see what it is like to have to go and do with her in tow by yourself.
DH was sleeping in the middle of the 2 hour awake episode last night. And snoring. I may or may not have bounced the bed enough to wake him so he'd readjust. Like 3 separate times.
You are nicer than me! If I'm awake in the middle of the night for any reason and DH is snoring he gets violently shaken until he wakes up and told to roll on his side so he won't snore.

If DH is snoring I usually nudge his arm and tell him to roll over. However right now I am terrified to do that because he had two moles removed last week on his arms and has stitches and I don't want to nudge him and hit them. Thankfully the snoring hasn't been that bad this week.
Sometimes when I pee in the middle of the night, I don't flush the toilet because I'm so terrified it will wake the baby.
I flush it in the morning once she's awake.
Our master bath is directly above DD's room. The toilet does not get flushed after she's down for the night until she's up in the morning. If we need to do anything besides pee, it's done in the bathroom at the foot of our stairs (furthest from the kids' rooms).
Pretty sure DS's diaoer leaked the other night. I haven't changed his sheets yet.

I have one!
I bought a pair of mom jeans after having DD. You know, the ones with the high waist and straight legs that all our moms wear. Originally it was because they were the only jeans that fit well but I still wear them all the time because they are so comfy. I get it now, Mom.

I do this! Why do they not snore on their side!? So bizarre....
I smell DD's dirty diapers once they are wrapped up
Oh god... I take a huge wiff even before I wrap it up. And each time I do I'm like "eww that smells awful why did I do that!?" And then I proceed to do it again the next time. (Hangs head in shame)

I will smell the poo diapers but it's mainly to make sure everything is working the way it should. Lol. With the new foods she's trying the color and consistency is always different. Like yesterday was weird bc her poo smelled fruity bc she's been eating a lot of fruit baby foods. I even made DH smell because it was weird. Ha.
FFFC: My week without H at home has actually been relatively easy, but I'm still going out with my friends tonight (after bedtime), and probably taking some baby free time tomorrow, and during next week to make up for it.

Parenting was always easier without ex around. He was more of a hindrance than help.

That's how I know I have a good one - he's really helpful, and he helped me get everything prepped as much as possible for while he was gone (packed lunches, baby laundry, etc.)

Yes! The weekends are noticeably more chaotic. I have better luck showering before bedtime during the week when DH isn't home.
