Hi ya'all!
Can I join you over here? After 2 years of using home ovulation kits and timed intercourse and after 2 failed IUIs, I finally came out of the closet on the 3T board about a month ago. Everyone was so welcoming... wishing me a very short stay.
And short it was! We started our first IVF in Feb and I just got my second beta confirming my pregnancy. After taking a HPT on Sunday that was negative, I was really not expecting this. We were already planning IVF #2 around my travel schedule and I already had a bottle of wine on the counter ready to pour.
But here I am. And, if I am being honest, I am totally freaked out. I am not one of those people that always knew they wanted kids. I know nothing about kids! I think I only babysat twice in my entire life. (obviously I was not very good at it) and all I can think of right now is how much work there is to do to get ready.
And I feel terribly guilty for freaking out about something happy like this when we have worked for it for so long and there are so many people who want to be here today, but it's the truth.
Can I bring some craziness to this group?
