MW is out getting her hair done and getting some "alone time" grocery shopping. Is that really what it has come to? Grocery shopping as a break from the kids? Not really a good time, but it's something I suppose. I try to talk her into a massage or me taking the kids out so she can take a bath or read in peace. But she's not big on massages by other people and doesn't want to miss out on the fun if we go do something.
Wish we could go to the park today, but it's all muddy out. However, we've built a block tower, a block rocket ship with engine boosters (looks the same as our tower...lol), a train and played block basketball (the version of cleaning up blocks where the little one tosses the blocks near the bucket and dad rebounds). Easily inked a double double on the stat sheet this morning. DS2 played some music on his playmat/keyboard foot thing during intermission. Next up?...an exciting game of "Run". Which is exactly as it sounds. Apparently running gives you energy...I beg to differ.

I've been enjoying my time with the little one! Sometimes its frustrating when i have to put him to sleep and he's still hyped up, but I love play-time! He is so curious and expressive now. Its so fun seeing his personality develop, and now that he can give me some real feedback its extremely rewarding!
