Walking Dead 3/15 (spoilers in thread)

Well tonight got interesting! I was surprised by the deaths tonight since the finale is supposed to be the shocker. Certainly building up towards the finale!

Nicholas sucks, and I wish Glenn had beat him up more. Noah's face was the grossest thing they've shown in a while IMO.

Gabriel seriously pissed me off. WTF is his problem!? They saved his ass and he turned on them. I realize Rick and the group's plan is to take over if they can't live together, but Gabriel was with them. He should be sticking by them. Asshole.

Hopefully Carol can help Jessie and Sam having been through an abusive relationship herself.

Really curious to see where the last 2 episodes of the season go.

I've been painting my kitchen all afternoon, so I'm wiped - but this is what I will say for now...

1. Yay Daryl is on a bike again!
2. Ouch Deanna's son
3. Yay for Eugene!
4. Revolving Door of Death. I haven't been horrified by a death on Walking Dead for a while, but that was pretty awful to watch.
5. WTF, preacher man? It's going to look really bad when they roll back in without Aidan (was that his name?)

I actually cried when Noah died and I didn't even like him all that much. It was so fucked up. The look of horror on his face broke my heart. And he had just gotten that journal... The people in Alexandria are annoying as fuck. All they do is sacrifice people to save their own asses. I was super glad that Eugene finally got some balls though because he was really starting to get on my nerves. I hate that Morgan turns into a dick though. Like he's any better, locking his congregation out to save himself. He did that because he was a coward, the group did what they had to do to survive. Didn't hear him complaining when they were keeping him safe from the Terminus fuckers. I can only imagine how crazy the finale is going to be.

Not said Deanna's son got killed but I couldn't understand what he said to Glen right before they ate him. Anyone wanna help out with that dialogue?

I can't wait to see the convo between Maggie and Rick when she tells on Gabriel.

I think he was telling Glenn that the people from their group got killed because they got in trouble and he and Nicholas ran instead of helping...?

******, H and I had to turn the subtitles on during that scene because they were talking so low that we couldn't really understand what he was saying. He said something like it was him that killed the others. I'm assuming the others were the two people that died from their group.

My observations from last night's epsiode:
1. The Alexandrians will leave you if you're in a sticky situation. This is not ok with me.
2. Nicholas needed to be beaten a little more by Glenn.
3. Gabriel tattling on Rick and the rest of the group was not good timing considering Glenn and them are about to show up without her son. So that should be interesting to see how it plays out.
4. It's shaping up exactly how I thought it would. Rick and his group are gradually taking over and look more like bad people the longer they're there in Alexandria.

Scenes for next week show a girl running (outside the walls, I think) and Sasha shoots at her. Is that the girl that's escaping from Alexandria? I also think she has Rick's gun that he hid in the blender.

Alright my thoughts...
I'm sad Noah died, but you saw it coming since he expressed a dream of his haha. Poor Chris, everyone still hates him.
I thought Aidan just said they died bc they left them, I'll have to re-watch that with subtitles. I wish Nicholas was more beat up but it would look really bad if they both were left behind. I hope he doesn't blame it all on Glen but I can't really see him telling the truth.
I was so pissed when father Gabriel said that to Deanna but he's kind of right. They are going to screw over the people of Alexandria eventually.
I'm happy that Abraham is back to his badass self. He's one of the ones proving that their group knows what they're doing.

My friend lent me the first nine books of the comics. I'm already on book six, not long after Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene join the group - actually they just met the preacher and went to his church. Many things are different, but I highly recommend reading them if you get the chance.

I will say it is borderline criminal what the series did to Andrea. She's a badass in the comics and I couldn't stand her in the show. On the other hand, comics-Carol? No thanks. Show Carol? YES PLEASE.

Also mishy2010 - Agreed on how you knew Noah was going to die. Chris Hardwick said something similar during Talking Dead last night - he expressed hope! He's a goner! So sad but true - start planning a future on this show, you're pretty much a dead man.

Same here! As soon as he started getting pulled into the walker crowd, I knew it was going to end badly...  I closed my eyes and didn't look again until I heard it go to commercials.

This episode was soooo action packed compared to the past few episodes! It makes me nervous/excited for the finale!

I really like Eugene in this episode. It was good to see him finally step up and do something to help the group. Hopefully Tara will be ok...

I'm pretty sure Gabriel is loosing his mind. I was pretty pissed that he would turn on the group like that, especially since he is a total hypocrite and let his congregation die. But he was talking like a crazy person and I'm curious to see how seriously Deanna will take what he said. I'm also curious to see how Maggie will act based on everything that she overheard him say.

I wish Glenn would have beat Nicholas more, but it was probably smart of him not to... When they get back to Alexandria, it will be Nicholas's word against Glenn's to describe everything that happened on that run. It wouldn't be good to give Nicholas even more reason to lie and blame Glenn and Eugene for everything that happened.

Man, Eugene picked the right moment to pull himself together. He obviously cares for Tara. I've really grown to like her, so I hope she lives. I was seriously rooting for Eugene to shoot Nicholas. Glenn definitely should have punched him a few (like 20) more times.

Carol is scary! Remind me not to piss her off.

FU preacher man, FU. I'm just glad Maggie heard the whole thing, so she can warn the group about preacher man's betrayal.

Especially now that we know that kid is abused at home. I thought it was weird how easily he shook off her comments and still wanted a cookie. Now I know it's bc he prob heard that all the time from his dad.

I was thinking that Carol may be intentionally guarded towards this kid (who obviously wants to be her friend) because most of the children she's been close to in recent years have died in terrible, sad ways (first Sophia, then many of the children at the prison, then Lizzy and Mika). At first I was annoyed that she was being so mean to him, but I think she is just being guarded and trying to avoid any type of connection with the kid. She could have done so in a nicer way, but that may help explain why she acted the way that she did.

Good catch! I like Tara and was hoping she would make it, but that may suggest that she won't. Who would be the 4th though? Aidan, Noah, Tara, and who else? And they don't exactly have anything to bury for Aidan and Noah...

Glenn's pain in the revolving door was amazing. It was horrible, lump-in-your-throat pain. He is easily one of my favorites on this show.

The people in the Utopia are even more stupid than I originally thought, and we see cracks in the perfect exterior that are more significant than they seem--the walls, the domestic violence, the fear, even the grid going down. Dude, when they said the power was out in the first scene, and then the guy told Noah "this is the beginning", it was over. The shit was going to hit the fan because of those 2 statements, hehe.

The priest is an asshole...I can't decide if they're playing him to be the ultimate coward, a total jerk, or both. This guy locked his flock out of his church once before, and now he's trying to lock his friends out of the town. Rick's people just need to take over this town and screw them all. They're too weak to know a good thing when it, oh I don't know--PROTECTS them?!

When Aiden doesn't come back, Gabriel's words are going to ring in Deanna's ears. Its going to be bad.

I didn't particularly like Noah either. He was kinda responsible for 2 major characters deaths. They died so he could live and then he goes and gets killed off. That scene was so gruesome though, what a way to go! Poor Glenn having to sit there and watch it. I think Deanna might actually listen to Gabriel because she already seemed a little worried. She said to Maggie that I've put another one of your people in a position of power here. Or something along those lines. Now Glenn is going to come back without her son. It might not be so good. Freak Gabriel though, what a dickhole! Lol the gleam in Rick's eye when Carol said he was going to have to kill Jessie's husband. Dick rick, loves that idea!

They saved you multiple times, and you stab them in the back like this? I think he's projecting his own self-loathing, trying to get them kicked out before they can reveal what he did. I wonder what Maggie's going to do with this.

I really hope Deanna can see through the b-s. I'd like for all of Alexandria to see that they do in fact need Rick's group, for them to come together, for this to be a place they can stay for awhile. BUT - with another 2 seasons confirmed from AMC, I doubt they can hang around in a quaint neighborhood for too long. We'd get bored.

Okay finally was able to watch this episode. 

Noahs death was awful! That is the most grouome they've been in awhile. 

Wtf is up with the preacher? They saved his life. The people they killed In his church were freaking canibals! And he doesn't have room to talk when he locked his whole congregation out of the church and left them to die! 

i was curious as to why carol was being like that to the kid. Then I was thinking of the look at the flowers girl and Sophia. Every time Carol gets close to a kid something bad happens.
