Weeks/Fruit: 32w2d / squash I think. Eeek the time is getting closer
Sexes/Twin Type:di/di boys
Symptoms:ohhh man...I have a cold im fighting w this annoying ass cough. Heartburn, peeing all the time, achy like a mofo lol, swollen feet and ankles, just uncomfy
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: had an u/s last week babies are looking good and BIG baby a 4lb5oz and B 4lb4oz. I start my twice a week weekly nst on wed.
Questions/Comments/Concerns:
I had my shower last weekend and we are finally setting up nursery. Things are getting REAL. I just need to do my hospital bag but im slacking I feel I'll jinx myself if I do my bag already. ( stupid I know)
Also we were supposed to go on our babymoon last weekend and all I wanted was a soak in a jetted bath tub and that got shot down really quickly when I was told we shouldn't take baths . I called the nurses line and she told me not to do it wahh. Ok im done babling
QOTW:are you a dog or cat person? I am a dog person all the way. I despise cats they are such ass holes lol
mrsf0831 don't worry about the hospital bag. I packed mine two weeks ago thinking that 2cm and 50% effaced and dr thinking wasn't going to make it passed the weekend meant something... Lol!
And you should be able to take short baths. Just don't want to overheat yourself. So lukewarm which is less fun but still a relaxing bath...

Weeks/Fruit: 18+2, sweet potato
Sexes/Twin Type: di/di b/g
Symptoms: AM congestion, Braxton Hicks, and lots of back ache.
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: Two and a half weeks until our A/S.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: The anterior placenta thing is really annoying. I know it's still technically early for kicks and movement, which I do get very occasionally, but it'd be nice to have some regular movement just for reassurance. Who else was in the same boat and when did proper kicks start?
QOTW: are you a dog or cat person: Definitely a cat person. I don't mind dogs if they're trained and looked after, but it's more tolerating them than loving them. MH always jokes that if we win the lottery, he'll buy me a barn and fill it with kittens for me to roll around in. And I'd quite like that.
wamom, Good luck this week! I wouldn't worry about your body failing you -- you've carried two babies to 38 weeks, and that in itself is amazing. Can't wait to see your birth announcement!

Weeks/Fruit: 28 weeks. Eggplant I think.
Sexes/Twin Type: Di/Di, Team Green
Symptoms: Sinus problems continue. Heartburn & gas. New symptom is that my feet are huge and all my shoes are really tight. I really didn't want to buy new shoes but last weekend I went & got some cheap size 10s from Target. Let's hope they don't get much bigger.
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: OB appointment & ultrasound last Friday. The eggplants are growing well and right on track. I see my pulmonologist on Thursday, although my lungs have been doing fine.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: Baby shower drama really sucks! (that's a comment more than anything else). Also, a quick question. I set up a couple of interviews with pediatricians for next week, but none of them seem to want to schedule interviews after 5 (these are offices that say they have extended hours on their websites). It's extremely frustrating because I hate to miss work to interview pediatricians with all the other doctors appointments I have going on. I'd still like to interview probably 2 more pediatricians, but I'm wondering how you guys handled the interviews around work and your other appointments?
QOTW:are you a dog or cat person Lean cat person, although I do like dogs too.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: Bleeding/spotting yesterday, but I suspect it was from beginning to wean off of FET meds. Labs tomorrow morning to double check levels.
QOTW:are you a dog or cat person Cat right now because that's all we have. My mom's dog is nice, too, though.

Good luck wamom! elvenqueen I had an anterior placenta with DD, it was frustrating. I felt her more regularly around 21 weeks or so, but even through to the end I felt very little movement so I had some extra monitoring to make sure all was well (it totally was, I just couldn't feel it).
Weeks/Fruit: 10w3d, prune
Sexes/Twin Type: Identical likely mo/di
Symptoms: First tri symptoms still kicking my butt. Food aversions, nausea, and vomiting. I've had a bad cough/cold which hasn't helped with any of that. Throw in some constipation and insomnia and I'm a hot mess! I get a little break in 2nd tri, right?? RIGHT?
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: NT scan in 2 weeks on 3/30
Questions/Comments/Concerns: Anyone have a clever idea I can borrow for a social media twin pregnancy announcement? Not sure I'm going to do it at all but I'm thinking about it. If I do, I'd like to involve my 3 y/o somehow.
QOTW: are you a dog or cat person: Dog! We have a sweet 10 y/o rescue mutt. I actually used to really hate dogs but DH slowly brought me around and now I can't imagine our lives without one.
ohh man you ladies with the MS I do not miss that one bit lol. It does get better I also took unisom w B6 and it worked wonders. I took it till I ran out of unisom around 15 weeks and everything was gone.

Thanks mrsf0831 glad to hear it gets better! I'm on Diclegis which is the prescription/extended release version of unisom/B6. It doesn't work but I'm afraid of how much worse it might get if I stop so I keep taking it!

I wanted to +1 the Unisom/B6 for anyone with MS. I've been taking it since week 8 and I'm 24 weeks now. I skipped my nightly dose last week and it wasn't pretty, so I suspect I will be taking it until the pregnancy is over. Plus the Unisom helps knock me out at night!
Weeks/Fruit: 24 weeks/Eggplant (according to Ovia)
Sexes/Twin Type: Di/di boy/girl twins!
Symptoms: Just the normal pressure, getting wiped out after a short period of time, intense heartburn. All the fun stuff.
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: Just had my regular bi-weekly appointment (I go every other week for my high BP) and they were actually able to find both heartbeats with the doppler for the first time! We have our fetal echo tomorrow because my doctor wasn't able to get the pictures of their hearts they needed during the anatomy scan.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: No questions. Kicks have started really intensifying and getting more frequent, which is awesome. Last night DH was able to feel his first outside kick AND I saw my belly move from the outside for the first time. It was crazy cool.
QOTW:are you a dog or cat person? I would say that I'm both. It really depends on the cat/dog. We have one of each and they're both great in their own way .
@sassycassieb ugh sorry you as still experiencing m/s. When I was 14w I tried to ween off and threw up that first night (I barely threw up) but a week later I was fine. I did love that the unisom knocked me out and I didn't wake up groggy or anything but when I stopped taking it the first few nights it took forever for me to fall asleep lol.
wamom, good luck on your induction!! Can't wait to get an update. Fingers crossed for a smooth delivery!
mrsf0831, yay for big babies! Hope you hold out a bit longer-- I'm sure packing your bag won't jinx you but I would be thinking the same thing lol.
elvenqueen, I don't have an anterior placenta(s) but I didn't start feeling daily movement until closer to 19-20 weeks, so don't worry! Soon enough you will be getting kicked all day.
Squishy622, hope your MS lets up soon! Even though I'm still taking meds and will get sick on occasion, I did start feeling much much better in the second tri.

I wanted to try to wean off of it to see if my body would just adjust and it would magically be gone, but I really can't function without it. I throw up everything and end up just puking up bile, which is absolutely foul and disgusting. Ick. I really, really hope that this goes away after the babies get here!
Lol @feegan the fruit comparisons across all the apps make no sense at all to me. They were supposed to be papayas last week according to one app and eggplants OR a heart of romaine lettuce this week. Maybe the papayas around me are huge but they're definitely bigger than an eggplant lol.
Symptoms: M/S alternating with being insanely hungry. Also fatigue. The usual.
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: NT scan on Wednesday!
Questions/Comments/Concerns: We got new carpet in our house this weekend and now I'm worried that the fumes are bad for the babies. I should have thought of that earlier! I've been sleeping in the guest room since we didn't replace the carpet in there. Hopefully it will air out quickly!
QOTW:are you a dog or cat person: I have a cat and the dog and right now they are both annoying me in their own special ways. The dog wants to go out every two seconds and the cat pooped on the new carpet in protest.
Weeks: 15w oranges I think Sexes/Twin type: b/g fraternal Symptoms: I've become a napper which is so not line me and I'm getting varicose veins on one leg which Is becoming painful.
Questions: anyone else have varicose vein issues? Is there much I can do about it?
Appts & u/s: we had an u/s last week and everything looked great. I have my 16 week appt next week.
QOTW: definitely a dog person. We have 1 insanely hyper dog who is awesome but can drive you crazy
Symptoms: Swollen ankles, Braxton Hicks, and I have to pee allllllllllll the time
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: I had to do my 3-hour glucose test yesterday, bleh. Also, I'm apparently anemic enough now that the OB wants me to see a hematologist, so I do that tomorrow. In happier news, I have a growth scan on Friday.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: I just really, really hope I pass my 3-hour. I need one less thing to worry about.
QOTW:are you a dog or cat person: Neither, to be honest. I guess I have a slight preference for dogs, but we've never felt a desire to own either one.
Hahaha I just posted this on the thread from last week! Talk about pregnancy brain!
Weeks/Fruit: 33 weeks on Thursday
Sexes/Twin Type: b/g frat
Symptoms: super uncomfortable, swollen feet/ankles at the end of the day
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: had an OB appt today, everything is looking good except little girl is breech right now (hoping she flips before it's time). MFM appt is on Friday (which is also my last day of work!)
Questions/Comments/Concerns: none really, but I had to pull over on my way to my appt today so I could vomit. That was fun...

elvenqueen, One of my twins has an anterior placenta. I was definitely in the 22-24 week range before the super consistent movement was present
desertrose27, I never interviewed an actual pediatrician. We live in a city where all practices are owned under 1 or 2 large medical groups. I used the pediatrician office in the same building as my OB. Luckily, he is fantastic and most all people in my area use him as well. I hope that they will let my twins see him instead of a different one in the same office. I have met one of the others and she is great too. Overall, you're never permanently stuck with a pediatrician. You can always change and with as many trips as you make in the first year for well checks you get a pretty good handle on whether you will like them or not.
chiwifey, I have existing varicose veins (seriously, who gets granny veins at 18???) and they get worse with pregnancy. Last pregnancy my OB recommended getting compression socks/hose. It was closer to the end of my pregnancy so I didn't bother but it seemed to be a pretty common solution.
SassyPants150 I had some existing broken veins where things are really flaring up now so I can relate to the granny legs at an early age. It happened with first pregnancy as well but much later. I hate that it's happening earlier and hoping it doesn't get too out of control. Good to know about the compression socks!
Symptoms: random headaches and fatigue. That's probably about it.
AW/Appointments/Ultrasounds: next Thursday I go back. It's so exciting to get to see the babies so often.
Questions/Comments/Concerns: trying to be prepared for the last couple months. Am I going to need help with DS the last couple months of this pregnancy? Will I be on the couch and not moving or if all goes well, will I be able to play with him, make him food, etc?
chiwifey I found out last Thursday! Actually we knew one was a boy due to the maternity21 test, but we saw girl/boy ultrasound last week. It makes it so much more real now!
