We have decided not to move forward with IUI just yet - DH has a point and wants to give it a go at home first when we are guaranteed to have our timing right. Today is my CD4, so I went into talk to my wonderful and fabulous RE. Do you all get hugs when you go too or is that just me? I just love them because they aren't schmoozy. I had my baseline US and she said something about left ovary resting, right ovary resting, blah blah blah 3.9 - looks great! No cysts.
I just took my first 2 (totalling 100mg) of Clomid ever! I say that because we almost did it a few years ago when TTC#1 and didn't need it and I've already done Femara and it didn't do anything but give me wonky cycles. So, I do Clomid for 5 days - go in for US in 7 days - get my trigger injection and progesterone and go home and go for it!
I like this plan, I'm confident with this plan. It's not crazy expensive because our insurance doesn't cover anything attached to the word INFERTILITY. I paid out $675 today to cover both ultrasound and RE visits. My Clomid was $18. I can't wait (sarcastic) to see how much the trigger injection will be. I did progesterone before so they may pay for some of it. I'm awaiting my phone call from the mail order pharmacy now.
Is it possible - 2 hours after Clomid, I'm already having hot flashes? I'm a nurse - I could/should look this up! HA!
