Sat down to nurse lo and he was so busy smiling at the ceiling fan he forgot he was hungry. Once I got him to turn his head away from the fan he happily latched on. Babies are weird.

LO wasn't feeling well after his shots yesterday, so he slept a lot in the evening. He went down for bedtime fine after we put him in the RnP, but he woke up at 2:00 to eat, then was wide awake and just kinda fussy. I stayed up with him til 3:45 then told DH it was his turn because I couldn't go into work if I'd been awake since 2:00. Of course then LO gets tired like 20 min after DH gets in there...
ashlantic the only way my sister could get my nephew to take a bottle was to stand under the ceiling fan until he was mesmerized by it and then put the bottle in his mouth. He was so distracted that he didn't notice it wasn't a boob lol

It took 2+ hours to rock LO to sleep last night. She's still getting up at 5:00ish for a snack. Time to wean her off that craziness. Mom group and barre class today. I haven't worked out since last week. Definitely going to be feeling it!
I get super mad when girls say that they will have a baby on or before their due date and then they do. I feel like just for being cocky about going before their due date they should have to wait an extra week. I know that's a super weird thing to get mad about. It's probably because I'm the only person I know in my town that's gone a week over instead of early. Call me crazy.

My DS hasn't pooped in 2 days. He is BF so I know it's normal, but this is the first time. He usually goes at least 3x a day. He was really fussy and straining last night. I wish he would hurry so I could have my happy baby back, but I'm not looking forward to a blowout!

I had DS1 at 39w2d (spontaneous labor), so I thought DS2 might be similar, and he was also born at 39w2d. Don't hate me!

Welcome to the club! LO is getting close to 1 week without a poop. I am terrified.
I had to stay up super late last night for work, and then the minute I finished, DS2 started crying to be fed. At first I felt like, "Dangit, let me sleep," but he's just so darn cute and snuggly that it kind of calmed me down from being all agitated about work. He's the sweetest.
So, since I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night, I may try to go to bed early tonight.
Also for the past few days L has been eating every 1.5-2 hours during the day. He's sleeping better through the night so I don't know if he's fueling up for those long stretches.
Z went to bed at 11:30 last night because we were out with DH's dad and woke up at 6am (as usual the past week). She didn't want a bottle so I laid her in bed next to DH, gave her a binki and went pee. When I got back she had passed back out again so I moved her back in to her bed. It's almost 10am and she's still sleeping! I feel like I did the first night we had her because I keep checking to make sure she's breathing! She was super stimulated yesterday and only took a few short naps so I'm assuming that has a lot to do with her wanting to sleep now. I'm hoping she sleeps again like this tonight because we have another busy day today. I have to get going soon if I want to get all my errands done before DH gets home from work but I feel bad waking her up.

Shots yesterday and C was doing so well until MOTY (yours truly) decided to take his band aids off. He cried inconsolably for almost 2 hours. I finally got him to nurse and pass out, so I let him sleep in the bed with us because I was scared to move him. I didn't sleep much I'm so glad we can just stay in the bed and cuddle all day. He seems happy when he wakes up and his temp is only 99, but he is still mostly eating and going back to sleep.
Heading to my moms and hoping I stay awake all day. I have to get used to being up this early once I go back to work which is in about 2 weeks I'm also super excited about LO spring mini session tomorrow. I'm hoping to take him to get pictures often.

lol be ready! DS had his yesterday after not going in a couple days. It was one massive poop.
I have to move the straps up on Mason's car seat. I have needed to for a few weeks. I'll set him in it where he's supposed to be and by the time our trip is over he's slumped down because the shoulder straps are pulling him down I think. It's also outgrowing his bassinet. I thought the bigger clothes was hard, this stuff is even harder. I don't want my baby to grow up so fast

The first night back to work last night sucked about as bad as I thought it would. And then I couldn't even snuggle L when I got home I've never been so excited for a Motn feeding!
On another note, I have to go through all his clothes today and put away all his newborn clothes finally where as I'm happy he'll have more of a selection now, my little guy is growing too fast!

This week needs to be over. I've been late to work the past couple days cause LO has been up all night, and last night he finally let me sleep. Still waking up every 2 hrs for some reason, but I felt rested enough to get up on time and what happens, I get stuck in traffic. 3 miles took an hr. I got to work later than the previous days. And then had to immediately go pump.
I had to run to town again today, a little over a half hour away. I wasn't going to buy a coffee, but I had some extra money, so I stopped and got my favorite drink at the local coffee shop. I'm home now, had to jump up to referee the two girls, and spilled the entire coffee all over the floor. Can I go cry now?
Spilt coffee is the worst, esp when it's from outside.
The stomach bug that got me on Sunday night got to my poor dd last night. Poor kid, it is hard having them sick, she is old enough to try to get to the bathroom but really didn't make it. Lots of cleaning last night. I am exhausted because I slept so lightly trying to listen for signs that she was going to be sick again. I just hope the baby doesn't get it!!
Ds#1 has a runny nose, fx that we don't all get sick! I've finally just started feeling like myself, I don't want to have to shutter ourselves for another week again!
Went to a new PCP today who determined that the pain in my wrist is indeed carpal tunnel Have to wear a brace to bed and take NSAIDs for the next 2 weeks. But in good news - I really really liked him.
Couple random questions... So my daycare lady wants her own set of bottles. I have 3 5oz and 2 9 oz at home. She would like 3 bottles to have at her house so I'm planning to buy more. Should I just buy 3 more 5 oz ones or will we be needing the bigger ones soon? He already eats 4.5 oz and I just don't want to buy more little bottles that won't get much use. Is it bad to use the bigger bottles when they start out half full?
