How many times a week do you wash your hair?

At work, we were discussing how often we wash our hair. Now I'm curious what everyone here does.

Yeah... I'm a SS here. If I don't have any out of office meetings, watch out cause it can get scary! If I have lots of meetings, I will definitely wash at least every other day.

I'm an every other day type of girl. I can sometimes stretch it an extra day but it's in a ponytail or bun if so.

It's ok bazingaa. I work in an office everyday and I wash my hair 2-3x a week.

I wash my hair every time I take a shower. So, ideally, every day. But since LO was born, I shower at night, and there are definitely times where I realize "Oops it's 10:00 and I didn't shower yet - screw it." But I can't go more than 2 days.

If I iron it, then it goes a week and I use dry shampoo. If it's au natural, then every other day.

I do every time I shower as well, which is every day, unless I'm having a super lazy day, which isn't often. If I go more then 24 hours, it turns into a nasty grease pit. Yum. I'm also so used to washing my hair every shower that I think it'd feel weird for me not to.

I used to do it every day, but switched to 2-3 times per week. I think it's less greasy now.

I wash mine every other day, but shower every day. My scalp would get too dry if I washed every day.

What does washing your hair entail? Taking a shower and using shampoo? Taking a shower but no actually using shampoo? Using dry shampoo?

I shower a few times a week. If I shower back to back days, I don't shampoo. I use dry shampoo and ponytails on the regular.

becole Washing hair = shampoo and conditioner, the whole shebang.

I usually wash on day 1, ponytail of some sort-day 2, conditioner only day 3, day 4 starts the cycle over again.

This seems complicated. Lol. When I wash my hair, I shampoo and conditioner, & use a leave in treatment. If I'm putting my hair underwater, it's getting washed.

My hair gets way too dry to shampoo it every day. So normally I just don't shower every day and then my hair gets washed when I do shower. Back in the day when I had a thing called time, I would workout and shower every evening. And I could not shampoo every day or my bleached out hair would break off.

It's not, I promise, this is just what works best for me. My curls typically don't hold up well beyond a day, and dry shampoos tend to makes my red hair look grey, so unless I'm getting my hair wet, it's a ponytail or bun.

every other day here... i usually tie it back when in the shower if its not getting washed, but typically its always in a pony tail, so i could get by with longer, i just choose not to.

I am a shower everyday and wash hair every day person. I totally plan out my showers, it's the one thing that I just wont compromise on even if there is no time. Makes me feel soooooo much better to have the mental reset time in the shower and wash off the maple syrup/fenugreek smell

I used to have the problem with my hair looking nasty sometimes even after work when I washed it that morning. I have slowly trained my hair to only wash it once every 4 days and it is life changing! I started out every other day and using dry shampoo and putting it up on the second day. I have to actually "do" my hair though when I do wash it which means put product in it and blow dry it. So day 1 and 2 I wear my hair down and day 3 and 4 I put it up in pony tails. I shower everyday, except usually Sundays, I just pull my hair up in the shower and don't wet it. Makes getting ready in the mornings so much easier on those days, especially with how tired I am right now and will be once this LO comes.

Guess I'm an oddball lol. I have really coarse and thick hair. If I straighten it after I wash then I'll wait about 2 weeks to wash it because the process takes about 3 to 4 hours. Definitely not somethin I could do every night. If it's left natural about once a week.

Same. I have very thick curly hair and an incredibly dry scalp, perfect recipe for fun. Au natural, I am usually sporting a bun, so about once a week. If I straighten it, I go as long as I can, about 3 to 4 weeks.
