I had betas done because of previous losses, but otherwise I would have just gone in for the initial appointment at 7 weeks or whatever and then a dating u/s around 10 weeks.

I had all of my initial bloodwork done at the lab when I think I was like 6 or 7 weeks along so maybe that was includes then? But to confirm at the dr they just had me pee in a cup and then they said, "yep, you're pregnant!

This. I almost passed out when they took my blood for my first pregnancy too. I hate needles. Getting stuck 4 times to get the IV in to deliver DD was brutal.
I don't think I had bloodwork for that, but maybe I did. I have no idea anymore...that seems like a lifetime ago. I don't remember that stranger from 2013 that could sleep for 8 consecutive hours (pre-pregnancy. Cause I'm pretty sure getting up to pee multiple times every night during pregnancy was some strange prep work for having a newborn.)

SS *almost loss mentioned* - After IVF, I waited two weeks then had blood taken and then had to go in 3 more times to check the levels.
Crazy story, ya know how the levels are supposed to keep doubling.. well mine was really high to begin with and after the 2nd time the blood was drawn the DR called me to tell me that my levels had dropped significantly which would imply that this was not going to make it. The dr thought it was weird that there were a couple other patients that had levels drop and she was going to have the lab run the results again - obvi we were heartbroken thinking it was over but they called the next day and it was a LAB ERROR! It was unbelievable, my levels ended up being fine and were doubling like they should.

After trying for a couple years with DS1 I couldn't believe when I got my BFP and asked my midwife to do a bloodtest, urine test and ultrasound. She is so sweet and went along with it. I also literally peed on all the sticks with him. With DS2 I didn't have a blood test.

I peed on so many sticks, but my OB didn't see me until 8 weeks. We did a confirmation ultrasound and some blood work, but I'm not sure if they tested the blood for pregnancy since we had the u/s.

Nope. No blood test here. No dating scan either even tho I really wasn't too sure when my LMP was. Only ever had 1 US, and that was my anatomy scan at 18 or 19 weeks.
I went for my initial appointment at 9 weeks and had a pap and a blood draw. No one ever actual confirmed with me that I was pregnant at the appointment. I think I just went to the next appointment at 12 weeks and heard a heartbeat with the Doppler.
