Hi ladies,
My washing machine is leaking all over the place and it is time for a new one. I have already decided that we are going for a top loader. My husband has the most delicate sense of smell and I am not going to risk the chance of buying a front loader that smells like mildew.
I was just about to purchase a kenmore bundle that is made by whirlpool and is equivalent to the cabrio platinum but, my friend just told me her cabrio took a dump after 3 years and her repairman said to buy LG. I have tried looking at reviews but, they are all the same. Everyone either loves or hates every model.

I have an LG high efficiency top loader and I love it. Large capacity, no agitator. I think I have the WT5070CW (currently nursing but I looked for my registration email). I've had it for almost 2 years.
I recommend reading the instructions on how to load it - which is basically leave a gap in middle where an agitator would be - because otherwise it can get unbalanced.
I have the matching dryer. DLGX5171W per registration email. Love it too.
We just purchased a top-loader GE Adora washer (model #GHWS8355H0MC) and dryer (GHDS365EF1MC). Purchased through DH's work as last year models. No issues so far & love we can fit our comforter in it. Also heard great things about Whirlpool Cabrio.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I swear, it seems like when you buy a washer machine you are just rolling the dice on whether you actually get a washer or a lemon. Keep the comments coming on models. I still have not decided what to buy.

I have the same set in a metallic tone! I love them, but I don't use any of the energy saving or Eco this and that modes, those suck so bad.
