At what point do you give your lo something for a temperature?I know the doctors don't want to see him until it's over 100. His is 99.4 but I'm not sure if I should give him something for it or see if it goes down on its own?
I would say go with your instincts on this one. Me personally would do just 1 dose of Tylenol to see if it helps. Yesterday was my LO shots and he was a fuss bucket with a minor fever like you so I just gave him 1.25 ml per docs orders and he was back to his old self after an hour or so. But do what you are comfortable with.
I used to give Tylenol freely, but I learned that fevers help a child fight whatever is bothering them, so now I only give it if I can tell that they are obviously uncomfortable or it gets high. But this is just my opinion
I thought I had heard this too. He's napping now so we will see what it is when he wakes up. He's been a little more fussy the last 24 hours but not horrible. Thanks guys
@littlefoote thanks his temp went down to 97.7 after a 3 hour nap. He just had a really fussy 25 nursing session (30 minutes is normal). He's still really fussy. Maybe going through a grow spurt? Who knows just happy the temp went down

I think he's just fighting something off. He doesn't seem sick just more sleepy and hungry but his temp is ranging from 98.6-99.4 so normal to slightly elevated but not high. I'm sure it's nothing some extra snuggles can't fix! And thank you @littlefoote we all need to hear that we are doing a good job!
