Well the expectant mother we have been in contact with since December just called. She met the other family last night and is choosing them. I can't even describe how sad this makes me. I had stupidly gotten my hopes up l. We've been waiting for a year and a half and this is the first expectant parent we've talked to. I really question if we will ever adopt and am so sad at the prospect if not having kids.
I'm so sorry! We were in your shoes with our first adoption and I can tell you we both honestly were very close to losing hope. It's hard right now but you remember you will become parents...
The waiting totally sucks and things like this are horribly disappointing. Lots of hugs

So sorry you are going through this! Do what you need to do to take care of you and try not to lose hope (I have to remind myself that a lot right now with our second adoption wait for match being 5x as long as our first so far!). HUGS!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I know how it feels to get your hopes up with every match, only to hear they picked someone else. It's very disappointing. But, you WILL adopt one day. Keep your hopes up and keep moving forward. It will happen.
