This week is a bit of a bust… that always seems to happen on short weeks, I get lazy! Tomorrow we are having lasagna, garlic bread and caesar salad, and since it's a fancier meal I plan on breaking out one of our nicer bottles of wine! Wednesday is leftovers. Thursday my middle son has a dr appointment on the other side of town so we are going to meet DH at in and out burger for dinner. Friday is pizza and all the beer!

Cadence and I are eating together this week so as to not tempt MH. Tonight we had baked chicken, garlic roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts. The rest of the week will be easier stuff that doesn't need as much cooking since I work. I have no idea what those meals will be though.
The rest of the week in no particular order: Bbq turkey burgers + veggie Foxy's chicken with quinoa+veggie Takeout Angel hair with my famous ( in our cicle) meatballs +greek side salads.
I fell off the wagon this week. L got me sick so I had/have no energy to do the grocery shopping for the week. Tonight was leftovers. The rest of the week will be whatever I can scrounge up from the freezer. It's looking like tilapia and chicken for the bulk of the week.
Tuesday – sweet potato chili Wednesday – honey lime tilapia with lime cilantro rice and sautéed vegetables. Thursday – chicken tortilla soup Friday – crabcakes with avocado and bean salad Saturday – out/takeout Sunday-butternut squash pasta with kale

Tonight we are doing BBQ chicken and twice baked potatoes and maybe green beans?
I really need to meal plan. I went grocery shopping yesterday and bout $100 worth of what looks good. From that we will be having eggplant and asparagus at some point and maybe some homemade pizza?
There is no way I could create a meal plan on my own. I use emeals.com. It's relatively cheap (I think $50 for a whole year) and each week they send me 7 new meal plans, with the recipe and shopping list. It's a life saver.

kimmycup can you share an example? I'm always afraid I won't like the meals if I do something like that. DH is very meat and potatoes and not adventurous.

Yup. Here's an example of what I get. I'm signed up for the clean eating plan, but they have a crap load of other options. I hope I do this right... emeals-clean-eating-family-plan-568.pdf (157 KB)
