Help me find shoes for my big fat feet

So, my feet and ankles have become super swollen.  Like way more than "at the end of a long day" normal type of swollen.  My normal shoes don't fit anymore.  They hurt me.  The only shoes I have right now that fit are my flip flops.  I'd really like to not have to work for the next 8-9 weeks in flip flops.  Not so professional, you know?  I went out today to try and find something, anything, even sandals that are dressier than my ratty old flip flops.  Nothing fit.  

Help me!!!  Anyone else have super swollen feet?  What the hell are you wearing?  I'd really like to not be the barefoot and pregnant girl at work.

The same thing happened to me the last 2 months of pregnancy the first time around.

I think I ended up just buying a few pairs of shoes one size up and I was fine. I bought cheap ones since I knew I would not wear them for long

I've switched to wearing sneakers and support socks to keep the swelling under control. Not super professional looking, but oh well.

My feet are extremely swollen and I already have wide feet! I measure as a size 7.5 but wear size 9 on a regular day. I found the only two pairs of my shoes that are comfortable right now are my chucks and toms. Wth Toms they won't be super comfortable at first but after you break them in(which only takes about a week if that) they are so comfortable!

Doc told me to buy those hose that help with circulation. I'm also planning to buy shoes with more support. #swellingsucks

Crocs make shoes that don't look like crocs but are super comfortable. Those were my go to during my first pregnancy when my feet were really swollen. I work in an office environment where flip flops or sneakers aren't an option

I've been wearing compression socks for a few weeks now, which helps with the swelling.

But sometimes your feet do grow half size or more during pregnancy- our ligaments are looser everywhere! They may go back PP, or they may not!

I generally stick to more comfort brands of shoes-- clarks, easy spirit, J-41, my sneakers, dansko, merrill, Keen.
But I'm geriatric in that I have to wear orthotics.

Sorry for your extremely swollen feet/ankles. Mine have been swollen and I have been that girl that has purchased my work wardrobe based what I can wear flip flops with. Our office is a little more relaxed in what I can wear so that helps. I have found though when I squeeze my feet in my tennis shoes after a few minutes of walking in them my swelling goes all the way down.

With dd I wore Bobs or Toms. I have a foot injury and am still in a brace so I need to wear tennis shoes. I had to get a doctor's note in order to wear them to work.

I caved and bought a pair of crocs last week. They're not super-ugly or super-attractive, but at this point, I don't even care, they're so comfortable.

Hmm...there is a sketchers outlet next to my office, so maybe I'll swing by there tomorrow and check out the Bobs. Thanks ladies!
