Do any of you lucky ladies have any tips on getting pregnant

Me and my boyfriend have been trying for at least a month. I've never looked into my ovulation cycle. I didn't think it would be this hard to get pregnant. This would be my first child, and I'm really exited about getting pregnant. I think he's gonna propose to me when we do.

Okay, glad you're having sex. Next steps: start charting your BBT, know when you ovulate, time your sex around ovulation, read a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility, read the Newbie Blog, try for longer than a month. Repeat for 12 more months, if unsuccessful, go see a doctor.

akraus2015, I just looked up BBT. It seems like a lot of work, but I'm willing to try it. So all I have to do is take my temp in the morning and record what my cervical mucas looks like after I get my period? Also thank you for actually responding to me. I really do appreciate it.

Read the book and/or blog I suggested above, it will answer many of your questions, but yes it is fairly simple.

If you plan on sticking around, the snark doesn't go away. The women here are supportive and more than willing to help you if you're willing to help yourself. There's not a lot of room for bullshit here, and many of these women have been TTC for years, not months. You won't get a ton of sympathy for posting before lurking/educating yourself on board etiquette as well as how your body works.

If taking your temperature every morning is too much work, then you might want to reconsider some life choices. Because babies are a lot of work, yo.

Also, some advice....lay off the "it's so hard". It's been a month. The majority of women here have been trying for much longer than one month, so this is really rubbing me the wrong way.
