Honestly, there isn't much I can talk at length about. I think mainly because I'm a pretty direct person and get my point across in very few words. Also, I have a hard time focusing on what other people say sometimes. DH says people think I'm a good listener, but truth is, I don't listen at all! I'm not a good debater so I try to avoid it. Maybe when I have kids I'll have something to talk about. I guess I've just never wanted to come across as judgy by voicing my opinion on things and I don't care much about other people's opinions.

It sounds pretty horrible, I swear I have friends!

@deziniki About asparagus...We moved here over the summer and it looks like our backyard used to have lots of garden beds that have since been over grown with grass. As some plants pop up, we move them to our current flower beds. But we have these asparagus plants that keep popping up. I haven't bothered to dig them up, and DH either mows them over or DS breaks the stems off. Are they suitable for eating at some point? How do you know when to cut them? When we first moved in they were huge and had flowers on. They seemed too rough to eat then.

Ha, I was going to say religion too, especially my own (as I'm sure everyone on here is well aware!). You can bombard me anytime! I actually started a Q&A thread on Parenting awhile back called "ask an orthodox Jew" when the board trend for a few days was to make similar "ask me" threads.

I can also go on and on about almost anything, the deeper the subject the better, especially if it's controversial, and especially if it has to do with education or child development. I'm a talker.

Interesting patient stories, food, My pets, other then that I am more of a listener then a talker.
That's why I lurk more then respond, I have trouble getting my thoughts to words so I am big on face to face communication. Like at work I will physically go to the floor and talk to the nurse face to face rather then over the phone.
