Just wanted to AW that today has been a great day.
Had my appointment with the peri and it went well.
They did have some difficult time initially finding a pocket of fluid to measure. I knew it too...I can practically do it myself at this point. All you saw on the u/s was baby. It was scary. But, the tech persisted and she found a really nice pocket right by Adam's head and that one pocket turned out to be enough fluid to keep me pregnant until next Monday! Whew!
They were also able to better see the blood flow to the placenta today. He was moving again but at a much better angle. It looked nice and strong.
He also said the NST results looked fantastic and that the same oxygen and nutrition that gives him all that energy to move like a crazy man will help him grow!
They did not do any measurements today though. They said they only do that every other week to give the baby some time to grow. I can appreciate that! He was in the 11th percentile last time and they really start to get concerned at 10th percentile...so more time to grow also decreases the chance of a tech error leading to me getting a c-section too early!
Next NST is Thursday....and as long as Adam continues to move like he is now, I think we'll do fine and make it to week 35 of this pregnancy.
This is such an emotional roller coaster-but I am just grateful for each day I get to breathe a bit easier.
Thanks for all the support ladies!!
