shellbell My LO gets bored at home I think. He is awesome in public or when we visit someone else but is pretty whiny at home, especially towards the end of the day.
Nothing at the moment. I just finished a quilt for my niece. All my stuff is out because I need to sort my scraps and see what's usable and what's trash and I want to organize things by color.
Basically I'm going to keep looking at your sewing set up and cry because I don't have that. #nerdporn
I understand. Up until DH built that for me, I was stuck dragging all my sewing stuff upstairs, setting up at the dining table, and having to pack it all back before we could eat. It was really annoying. I hope you get a sewing spot too! (Damn it, phone. Sewing is a word, stop autocorrecting it to seeing.)

So, I had A's teacher fill out the Milestone Questionnaire and found how to score it online. From the answers she put, he only is behind in the problem solving area. So I feel good about that.
How strict is everyone else on the "you need to sit to eat" rule for LO? For meals, he's seated. But right now he wants to climb while eating puffs and I kind of don't have the strength to fight it. #tired
Trying really hard to be vigilant but I fail with regularity. I will get more strict the more I know she understands.
I'm pretty lax with breakfast on weekends... he eats more when he roams back and forth between DH and i scavenging from our plates then if he is in the highchair... lunch and dinner are always seated... and afternoon snack (puffs, cheerios etc) he is moving and grooving

We stay seated for meals but snacks are pretty much all over. I guess I never really thought it was a problem. I was snacking on some cheese yesterday and he crawled up to take some from my plate. I was just happy he actually ate the cheese? Other than falling with hard food ( which he would only have seated) in his mouth, is there something else I should be worrying about?
I read the headline and refused to read the story. It keeps popping up on FB in my feed and it makes me upset every time.
I cannot handle stories involving babies and children anymore. They made me sad pre-baby, but now I just have a mini panic attack when I hear about horrific things involving the wee ones.
This is how I feel now. My job peripherally exposes me to really sick babies that may not survive. I used to compartmentalize really well, but now I can't and I have cried on more than one occasion at work since LO
Um. I think my baby hates me? Or hates being home with me? He apparently had a fantastic day at dc. He smiled and waved his way through wegmans. And now that we're home, he's screaming and clawing at me. And DH is working late. So I'm it. Sorry LO.
This happens to me all the time too. I always take it personally!
Cookie butter has completely changed my life. I have to say, I'm a little disappointed in f14 for not preparing me for the variety of cookie butters available. Tj's was packed, of course, so I had to make some quick decisions about which cookie butters to get. It still haunts me that I left the chocolate and cookie butter behind.
Also, in case anyone was keeping track, not doing so great on the whole no sugar january resolution....
DH has to go back to work in a bit, but came home to help me with the kids and their homework, and dinner. What a swell guy!
Then I found out the kids don't have school on Friday. They didn't have school yesterday either, which is going to make for the longest week evar! Suck.
Does anyone else find out there DH will be going away for a couple days and immediately start planning what you want to eat? Asking for a friend.
Uhhhh, yup! Pretty much all my contributions in the Saturday Randoms thread were somehow related to compulsively eating alllll the food before DH came home.
caer & @elf828 I wear suits as little as an attorney possibly can. I hate them. I always feel like I am trying to dress like a man if I wear pants, and nylons drive me batty. Ugh, hate them!
jackiep1023 - I am a huge advocate of part time. I can't imagine working full time.
Professional women's attire and part time work, two of my favorite things to talk about all in one post!

I'm basically the opposite. DH does most the cooking, when he's away I tend to eat cereal and soup and things like that because I don't like cooking and just for me it's so not worth it. But I definitely plan the things I'm going to watch.

Hugs djtippietoes I know you've been so stressed about A's weight & development for a long time. Hopefully EI will be reassuring for you.
If it makes you feel even a slight bit better... G is only 17.2 lbs/28 in which is the 11th% for height + weight. I worry so much about her weight especially now that she isn't drinking formula or from a bottle..we dropped the bottle fully today. Whatever she drinks has to be from a sippy from today forward. Her WCM intake + regular foods isn't exactly conducive to me keeping up with exactly how many calories she gets...

This is what I do!! I have an entire cabinet dedicated to cereal I eat when my H is working late.
18 pages.....I'll never catch up. So, hi! I went to the gym today...third day this week. I'm trying not to get discouraged because the results aren't immediate. I feel so gloriously tired.
