Reason why my toddler is crying

Because I tried to get her to drink water.

Because she doesn't want to use a sippy cup.

Because I turned the sippy cup around the right way for her.

Because her sister tried to hug her.

Because I got out of the play yard to blow my nose.

Because I had the audacity to try to get the boogers out of her nose.

Because I didn't get Cheerios to her fast enough.

Because I'm a horrible mother who wanted to change her wet/dirty diaper.

Because I won't let her run away with the iPad while Facetiming with my parents.

Because she is too short to push the Costco cart. She pushed a toddler cart once and now thinks she should be able to push all carts.

Because we have to drive the car home from childcare. She thinks we can just walk the 10 miles.

Because she wants cheese. She cries and hangs from the fridge door handles at least a dozen times a day crying for cheese.

Because she wanted us all to get up and go "bye bye" at 4:30 this morning. Just once I would love to sleep in on my day off.

Because she has decided she wants to nurse after waking up in the mornings. I generally don't let her after 6am but have the past 3 mornings because she cries so hard and points to the chair in her room...

DD: I asked her to wear her coat and snow boots because it was snowing outside.

DS: I recycled the library story hour schedule after copying the special events into my planner. He was still crying about this the next day. Apparently he thought it had games on it.

These are delightful! They make me feel better that my toddler isn't the only drama waterworks over nothing babe!

-always with the face timing on the phone with grandparents!

Tonight- because I left her in her high chair so I could run the sweeper and not have to hold her. She enjoys when I hold her and sweep for some odd reason.

Because I asked her if she wanted to get out of her car seat when we got home.

Because I wouldnt let her take DVDs out of their cases.

Because the banana she was eating came out of the peel.

Because I didn't get her more peaches fast enough.

Because I changed her diaper as soon as she pooped since shes got a little rash. How dare I not let her sit in her poop and make her rash worse!

Because I gave her a bath in the big tub (sans baby tub) with her sister.

Because she herself shoved a (bath squirter) cupcake in her CD player and it got stuck.

Because I removed said cupcake from the CD player.

Because I won't allow her to play with electrical cords.

Because I won't let the cat eat her Cheerios.

Because it was nap time.

This one made me laugh:

Ashley started hysterically crying because Kayla dropped one of her toys at lunch, and I wouldn't pick it up again (she'd deliberately thrown it at least six times by this point). Meanwhile, Kayla didn't care at all about the toy on the floor, and very happily played with the one that was left.

Then because I told her she had to at least try it if she wanted a bagel o Gogurt, which she began begging for after she got the egg.
