I think they are cute, and I want to make one for DD, though I don't know when I'll have the time. I did think the crocheted bikini and crocheted tiara on the little girl toward the bottom was a little creepy, though. I don't think I'll be doing that. But how fun would a mermaid tail sleeping bag be?

I think they are cute - but I really only like them as actual blankets, not posed for pictures with a little bikini top. Those ones I think are creepy and over the top.

I'm in between cute and creepy. I don't think I would go out of my way to get one for DD but with my luck she would see one, begg for it and love it when she's older.

I think they're cute as blankets...But I agree that the top and tiara take it to creepy. I do think the newborn pic near the bottom is cute though

As far as the web page, I think they're cute minus the seashells and tiara pic on that girl. That's a little weird. However, sugarkissed's baby is so cute!

I think they are kinda cute. I've seen ones on Pinterest that are just sewn instead of crochet.

I don't like them enough to spend the time making one, but I think they are cute. They are completely innocent and sweet and I find it sad that we live in a world where we, as parents, have to worry about some perv liking such a picture too much.

+1. Also, even if i wanted to do it, DS would never go for it because he doesn't like havibg his feet confined at all. We couldn't even use sleep sacks.

I guess it's a context thing because I think this is OMG adorable! The little girl on the website looks like she's trying to do a sexy pose, which creeps me out. But your baby just looks like a baby playing in the sand who happens to be dressed as a mermaid. I loved the NB mermaid pic on the website; it made me think of Splash.

This picture is so adorable and really well done and tasteful. The older girl on the website is creepy. The newborns are adorable on the website as well.

Some if my dislike might be the yarn used on the older girls. The girl lounging around reading a book is cute but I hate the color of the yarn and it looks thick and itchy.
