Threading- they kinda just grab a bunch of hairs at once and repeat. I'm usually in the chair for a max of 2-3 minutes. I barely even feel it. Waxing always makes me break out in a rash.
I messed something up for DH, and I feel sick about it. I'm hoping he can work it out... otherwise it's a very expensive mistake on my part and he's going to be livid. I feel like an asshole for screwing up, but really I'm just spread too thin between keeping up with his job stuff and mine. STRESSSSS
ETA: The phone call he just had with these people went well. Exhale... things are looking okay... phew...
Guise, I'm so excited. I'm getting my plantation shutters installed in 9 days! This has been 6 years of waiting! YAY.
Other than that, not much exciting over here. It's kinda chilly and grey out today, so I took N to the mall so she could play in the play place. It worked out today, no big kids in there. I'm about to call a client, and later I have my Al-anon meeting. Pretty typical day. BUT, shutters!!
kimmycup yay for plantation shutters!! I would be excited about that, too. That is something I would like to do in our house, as well. They look so nice.
mellochello Luke did the same thing this week. Woke up disoriented and screeching with real tears. The only thing I could think was bad dream.
I 2nd a bad dream. Maybe waking up in a new environment was scary? They change so fast these days and becoming more and more aware of their surroundings.
I hate getting threaded. Wax, no problem. Threading, owwww.
Ouch is what I've heard. However, whenever I compliment someone on their eyebrows, they tell me they get them threaded. I'm convinced it's the way to go.
If you get threaded regularly it's NBD your skin gets used to it. I normally wax because I just don't have time to keep up with threading anymore, and owww!
It's snowing here today. I love it! Always puts me in a good mood
@mellocello Sorry! It could possibly be a bad dream. Neva's done that a couple of times at night, and I've chalked it up to that. It is scary. @lizinfl Thanks! I've loved them ever since I moved to FL and always wanted them in my house.

I'm all for bitchfests, but seriously one of my coworkers must have the worst life ever because all she ever does is complain. I try to say something nice or offer her the advice she asks for and it still gets turned into a complaint. It's too draining.

@kellykins is there anything he needs? I think I am going to do a leather wallet this year. I have done couples massages before or just something he needed. We are fairly practical at gift giving. We buy each other clothes a lot.
I just went to a taco shop Drive thru because I'm too lazy to cook.. I had a burrito and two tacos. Can we have N13 eat all the fatty food day?
Yes, today should be Fatty Food Day. I ate a hotdog and Doritos for lunch. A HOTDOG. New lows...
B must have heard me griping about his short nap, b/c he miraculously fell back asleep and slept til 12:20--so I ended up with 2 hours and 20 minutes. It was amazing; I got my closet cleaned out and am thinking about consigning some of the clothes.
ggandlee I'm interested in hearing your opinions on the subject of doctors & deliveries. My BIL is an OBGYN resident, so I'm probably biased, IMO it's best left to the experts who specialize.
DD and I are home sick today. We took her to urgent care on Saturday and the doctor it was just a respiratory infection and asked if we were first time parents with a chuckle. I was a little offended but brushed it off. Took DD to her regular doctor on Monday and she has an ear infection and eye infection.
@mothereffer bad daycare drop offs are the worst. There is a tiny bright spot in that they must really love us!
wedding we're going through a picky stage too. She used to eat almost anything and now if it doesn't come out of a pouch, she's not really interested. Hoping it passes quickly.
