Day off from work today. Unfortunately that doesn't mean a lazy day. I just dropped Hannah off at daycare and now I'm relaxing for a little while. I'm going to exercise, take a shower and then get ready for the day. I have an eye appt this morning, and then my yearly physical and a dentist appt this afternoon. I may sneak in some shopping in there at some point too. And Starbucks because I got a whole bunch of gift cards for my birthday.
ladystrat I see your post on the monday thread. Sometimes the threads get messed up on the app and if I go to the prior page and then pull down so that it refreshes all the posts that weren't showing come up.

We had an overpass collapse on a major freeway last night, so I'm glued to the news. One construction worker was killed and a semi-truck driver was injured, but expected to be ok. My heart goes out to the family of the construction worker, but I'm also thankful that not more people were involved in something so scary. Now I'm just hoping that this will push lawmakers to make a decision about the bridge b/w Kentucky and Ohio that is quickly deteriorating before this happens on a much, much larger scale.
Morning all. I have a climber. I do not have the energy for this. B has also decided that Milo's penis is fascinating. It's going to be a fun day.
I'm coming down with DH's cold and I've got a headache and keep bleeding through on top of it all. It's like I'm 14 or something. I think B might be working this cold, too. All I want to do is watch tv and sleep.
It's a target and grocery store day. I need to meal plan but I'm pretty sure dinner is going to be miso soup and a baked potato.

Morning I only got a few hours of sleep last night but managed to have a crazy dream where I POAS and it was positive, I think we were happy but also terrified!
About to grab a latte from abp - I'm addicted to them lately but they are only $2 and no up charge for soy milk! Yeah, that's the highlight of my day I'm sure!

Morning!
We've had a rough several days, man. Sophia was finally well enough to go back to daycare yesterday. DH and I went to see American Sniper (SO good) and then finished painting our master bedroom. It was a nice, relaxing day.
Our ENT follow-up on Wednesday can't come soon enough. Sophia is still having trouble STTN, is still super congested, and all around G R U M P Y. Sunday was the longest day of our lives since she was a newborn. All she did was whine and cry. All day.

Oh and I'm also having a minor fashion crisis- I desperately needed new black shoes for work so I finally bought a pair of Nine West wedge boots- they are pretty comfy but they are taller than my old work shoes so now my pants look stupid short.....

Back to work for me. So far it is quiet.....quiet before the storm?? Cadence STTN for the 2nd night in a row. I'm sure it will be short lived...aren't canines right around the corner?
Hugs to all the sick mamas and babies.
I'm ready for the warm weather to come back. I think after today our temps are going down again. What a tease.
chrisy01 Yes, it will be a busy day. It's kind of spread out though so I won't be running to get to my appts thankfully. I am super excited to go to my eye appt cause I'm getting new glasses AND sunglasses, which is amazing!
@mothereffer Sorry lady. Do you need another boob pic to cheer you up? I hope you're feeling better and Si can get back to normal ASAP.
bettercallsaul poor Sophia! Get well vibes to everyone in your house.
Hating waiting for this No Objection Certificate before DH can file for his new boss, then A and I for ours. It's a limbo I hate, since we can't get back to India, and our stuff there, without it.

@mothereffer I'm sorry, I hope tonight goes smoothly.
bettercallsaul poor baby. I want to see pics of your room!
Mh just left for the week. My only goal is to make it to spin class today (which starts in 20 minutes, so maybe not) and go to Costco. I'm out of everything.
I'm back in the office for the first time since last Wednesday and it's actually nice to be here. Which seems weird to say.
Anyhow wedding we are also having weird food issues. C just seems super picky all of the sudden. He slow rolls his meals and rarely finishes, and that's after 8 months of life as a human garbage disposal. It's super weird.
@mothereffer - C has just started crying when I leave him at daycare. It just plain sucks. I'm sorry you're still feeling so awful.
Last night I dreamed that I was going to New York City with my mom and sister. We were at the airport and I realized I didn't have my driver's license, but I did have my passport. My passport had my name spelled wrong and no photo, but it was signed by Ronald Reagan, so they were going to let me use it anyway (Thanks, Gipper!). I wasn't sure if I was going to make the flight because I had to wait for the NFL (as in, football) cycle on my dishwasher to finish washing an entire dishwasher full of sippy cups.
Morning everyone! finnaroo @mothereffer hope you both are feeling better soon!
Lazy morning here...I think we'll go to the park today and maybe get B a haircut. We had 3 pretty, sunny days after a week of fog and rain, but our luck has run out; we are back to gray and gloomy today. This is not why we live in FL...act right, weather.
We have tons of toys and multiple spaces/rooms set up purely for B's entertainment and happiness. And he wants to play with the iPhone charger in my shower. I have caught him in there 3 times this morning. What is the allure?!
JoeLies My sister's name is Katie, so I feel a strong connection to all the Katies even though I am not one of them.
That's one of my all time fav pics of LO from his 5 month old photos. I think that's been my favorite age so far. He could sit up pretty well, but wasn't mobile. Ahh... those were the days.
I think we are on the other side of the wonder week now. He has gotten SO coordinated with his fork and spoon, building blocks, other small motor skills things that he couldn't do before, but now suddenly he's a pro. Also, I think he's got like 12 new words-- one of them is NO, which I heard approximately 80 times this morning. And he grew about an inch and his pj's no longer fit. It's crazy how all these things happen to them so rapidly.
Ahhh! Somehow I missed a call from the genetic counselor. She has our Verifi results! I just tried to conference her with DH, but there was no answer. Now how am I supposed to do work?
Ahhhh I would be calling every 2 minutes. I'm now officially stalking you. FX for super awesome healthy baby results
