It's Monday...again... How we feeling?

Besides feeling tired this morning, I'm feeling good at 30 weeks. I'm hoping some yoga will help alleviate any aches and pains. I am looking forward to a few, new maternity clothes arriving in the mail this week!

Tired and nauseous this morning (first trimester my ass!)...
Anxious about my doc appt this aft to see what he says about the boy and the placenta. Today is decision day for our trip. Doc, then insurance. *fingers crossed*

I'm going to join the tired club. I had to work on Sat and Sun so I didn't get to enjoy the beautiful weather we had here. And working is the worst.

Not good. SO has been asked to stay from 8am - 10pm at work again! When he was supposed to finish at 4. His bitch boss does this all the time. I'm currently sitting in tears as I write this. When I say this happens all the time it really does. I'm terrified he won't make the birth, or it'll still happen when LO is here and I'll be left on my own. I'm so down and depressed at the moment. I haven't eaten yet, we don't have much in & I don't feel like I have the energy for food shopping, I feel sick. I'm currently in bed. I just don't know what to do.

What does your SO have to say about that kind of situation? IMO working a LOT right now is a good thing, so you can make/save money for baby, but it can be stressful when you don't know it's going to happen, or you're left alone when you counted on time with him.

Has he talked to his boss about being there for the birth? It doesn't necessarily seem like since she asks him to work extra shifts that means she doesn't plan on letting him leave when you're in labor! 

More to the point sorry you're feeling shitty Maybe try to go back to sleep for a bit, or watch some Netflix and distract yourself...

He's not getting paid for the extra hours! It's so ridiculous. His boss just says I'll give you it as time owed.. & never does, he's already owed like 10 hours! If he was being paid for it I would understand. I'm always on my own, I feel like I'm in a relationship with myself. I have a feeling I'm just gonna hide in bed all day. I'm so done.

I stopped taking Unisom over the weekend and I actually feel less tired. I wake up a lot at night but my sleep feels more restful. I was only taking a half every night but it's clear it was not doing any favors for my sleep. Aside from that and feeling achy I've been feeling pretty good.

Light headed from my GD drink but baby girl really liked it...she's kicking away in there! Other than that, I started the morning like every other - stupid freaking leg cramps and an aching back. I'm going for a prenatal massage tomorrow and can't wait! If I could lie on that massage table all day, I would so do it. But I'm in a good mood today otherwise b/c I'm headed to NJ to see BFF after I get my blood drawn. Yay!

One of my sweet, precious students gave me some sickness. I have an appointment today, so I'm going to chat with my doc about what I can do. I'm coughing up green crud, wheezing, and super congested. This sweetie had an upper respiratory infection, so I'm wondering if that's what I've got.

My GD management is going pretty well. I've only been over my limit on my readings a few times, and I know exactly why. It was the pizza. Lol.

Having a four day work week and spring break next week helps make up for it.

Over the weekend I started getting little low blood sugar spells that make me sweaty, nauseous, and lightheaded for a couple minutes. Apparently I can no longer be late for a meal. Work gets in the way of a normal eating schedule (I'm a flight attendant so breaks are minimal) but I go on maternity leave on the 14th so that's nice. I haven't been eating like a complete asshole lately but this morning I NEEDED almost an entire sleeve of thin mints so there's that

My DH is a "yes man" workaholic type. But what bugs me the most is when he is on business trips.  I told him that he is not allowed to travel anywhere during the months of June and July, and as far as I'm concerned, he really shouldn't be going anywhere during May either. DH said he communicated this to his boss. Maybe you need to try to get your DH to set parameters like that with his boss. I.e. have him communicate --if you keep on making me work crazy hours during the month of June, I am going to be forced to find another job elsewhere-- or something like that.

DD spent her first two nights on a twin mattress on the floor of her room over the weekend.  The first night, she kept banging her head into the wall, kicking the wall, or rolling off the side of the mattress onto the floor, so I set up a rail on either side of the mattress on the floor and moved it away from the wall so it looks ridiculous but last night was a little bit better... just one random "Mommy I need you" wake up in the middle of the night.  Actually not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be, so far

Hope the transition wasn't too painful.

We started Friday night at normal bedtime (8pm) and he didn't end up going to sleep until 11:30pm...on his floor...in front of the baby gate.

Nap on Satuday was spent on his floor again for about an hour and then he slept on me for 2 more hours on the couch.

Saturday bedtime was pushed back later because he hurt himself and we debated going to the ER, but ended up just icing the area. He cried at his door for about 15 minutes and then went to his bed. (yay!)

Nap on Sunday he slept his normal lenth (2ish hours) on the floor.

Lastnight he slept on the floor at his door for about an hour, and then went to his bed for the rest of the night.

All in all, I am counting it as a win, just exhausting for mommy.

My emotions are sooo all over the place. I had a total ugly crying meltdown for like an hour yesterday morning while I was trying to pick an outfit out. I even gave myself a small bloody nose. I feel like a whale

Other than that I feel pretty good.

My back was feeling really uncomfortable last night when I was trying to go to sleep (like it needed a good crack). So I tossed and turned for an hour or so and then moved to the living room couch and fell asleep right away. I ended up sleeping in about a half hour later than usual so I got like 7 hours of sleep instead of my usual 8. I'll probably be out like a light tonight!

I ran out of my Zantac (heartburn med) yesterday and I'm terrified of what today will bring without it until I pick up more tonight.

I'm annoyed with the peeing... always feeling like I'm gonna need to pee but then when I go it's so minimal (not like UTI-ish)

Slightly puffy feet started with week 30... sucks I thought I would hold out longer!

As far as pregnancy goes, I'm still feeling a million times better at this point than I did with DS. This is what I'm banking on to calm my fears about preterm again!

Some heartburn, uncomfortable sitting too long, sometimes just general feel like doing nothing. Yesterday I was chilling out in my Snoogle and had to get h to help me out of it, I was like a backwards turtle lol.

alayne926, you are a brave soul. Everyone keeps asking when we will be transitioning DS and for now I'm just pretending it's not ever happening. When we do make the transition though, I was thinking of putting one of those knob covers (where only an adult can turn the knob) on the inside of the door, but a baby gate is a good idea too.

I'm feeling tired today too, I guess it's in the air.

I talked birth stories with my cousin last night and started reliving everything. It doesn't freak me out too much to talk about it or make me more anxious/scared. I think I might be in denial.

veggiemo, I was having nightmares about DS starting to climb out of his crib right when the baby came and then we'd be dealing with a newborn AND sleep transition at the same time. DH actually said yesterday, "Can you imagine doing this right when the baby comes home?" We didn't really want to switch him, but we also want to finally be done with binky before baby comes too (he only gets it at nap and bed), but didn't want to have two major changes in a short time.

I slept like crap last night... DD is coming down with a cold and wanted me close at hand. I slept with her thinking I'd get a better sleep if I was right there. Not really. Her bed is a bit firm for me and she always has to snuggle right against me. This means I'm squished against the wall. She probably woke up every two hours last night because of her congestion. At least she slept until just after 7.

This little one is currently using my bladder as a punching bag on a regular basis and the Braxton hicks are starting to come more frequently. And I had a bit of a dizzy spell last night. I had to lay down.

Totally true. But new baby will be with us in our room for probably 4-6 months, maybe longer. The kids will be sharing a room so the baby needs to be on a decent sleep schedule before I can move him/her out of our room. So I've got time. I hope?

On a similar note, I need to get rid of Paci too (same here in that he only gets at nap/bed time). Damn it.

Makes sense...I'm undecided if baby is going to be in our room...DH's snoring is SO much worse this time around, I'm afraid we're not going to get any sleep.

Luckily at daycare, he doesn't get binky at all...they were giving it to him way too much, so I know he can do it...I'm just a chicken at home.

I'm feeling full of baby. I just want to stand all the time because, at least then, he's not pressed up into my lungs and I can breathe a bit. Sitting squishes him all up into my abdomen... also, he could really move his head out of my right hip and into my actual pelvis. That would likely help, kiddo.

And my boss shared her stinking cold with me. Ugh. I'm back to going through piddle pads like they're going out of style.

I'm actually feeling really good today.  I have a friend over painting a mural in the nursery, so I woke up early to be productive this morning in the housework department.  Now I'm tethered to my dog via his leash to keep him out of the paint because our gates are all packed away and his crate is still in our car which DH took to work, so I'll probably be taking it easy and handling little tasks I can do downstairs to keep the dog from losing his mind.
