10 Things Tuesday - End of March Edition!

1. How is it the end of March already?!
2. It's supposed to be 72° here on Thursday - SO EXCITED FOR WARM WEATHER.
3. It's supposed to be in the 30s again on Friday - BOO.
4. I'm so excited for our trip to Orlando in May - it's all I can think about now. 
5. I have to take my Godmother to the doctor's tomorrow.  It's not like she's super old or unable to drive, she just does't want to drive into 'the city'. Frustrating!
6. I really am going to try to convince my BIL to sign up for Match.com or another dating website.  He's going on 34 years old and never has had a DATE. NEVER.
7. I'm not looking forward to Easter - I have brunch with my family at noon and then we're going over to the ILs for dinner at 6. I hate having to go to both places in 1 day - it makes the day feel so rushed - I'm always watching the clock.
8. Very excited for the comic convention coming up next weekend - I'm such a nerd, I know.
9. I think I'm going to start reading Gone Girl next - I haven't seen the movie and I've heard the book is good.  
10. I need to read more in general.  I love reading and I know I won't get the time when we are placed with a LO. 

ETA: 11.  I'm not looking forward to April's fools day tomorrow and all the fake pregnancy announcements on Facebook.  Ugh.

1) our baby starts daycare tomorrow. I will miss him but we know all the teachers so we are very comfortable having him there. I still may cry leaving him because I will hope he isn't sad and missing me
2) I have 2 glorious days to myself!! Tomorrow it's just me and I'm trying to figure out what to do
3) thurs DH is off and we are going to drive to the beach and have a long lunch with seafood and drinks
4) Friday is my birthday
5) Friday I am going with my BFF to NYC for the day and we are seeing billy Joel at night
6) we had our last post placement visit last night
7) the social worker thinks we may be able to finalize late April...I'm still not sure if that's pissible but we are excited tu be talking finalization
8) DS1 loves the adoption story book I made . He especially loves the photos of himself lol
9) it's finally nice enough where I can open windows'! I miss fresh air
10) this was the easiest 10 things for me yet

2. My dog is trying to make me feel better, but even at 19lbs, he does not feel good trying to lay on my stomach.
3. I'm watching reruns of the office
4. I need to buy my ticket to San Diego to visit my grandmother
5. Only 10 more days until my husband is home!
6. I'm considering hiring a maid twice a month now that I'm working full time and in school again.
7. Easter is Sunday!
8. School starts Monday

10. I am babysitting my niece and nephew on Saturday

2. My father-in-law's memorial service is this weekend. So not ready to cry my eyes out again.
3. Craving a hamburger. Want grilling weather to hurry up and get here.
4. Home study in-person stuff is done, but our paperwork is already expiring. We have to do clearances and physicals again.
5. Planning a Harry Potter themed bridal shower for a friend (fiance is a friend too). Should be fun! Ravenclaw-style. Still trying to figure out her bachelorette.
6. One problem with the shower - it's scheduled for the day DH gets back from Asia from work. His work moved the dates again, so I might not even be able to pick him up at the airport. T_T
7. Steeling myself to go to the gym tonight. Keeping promising myself I'll be a fit mom.
8. Been watching Charmed clips on YouTube. It's super hokey but I still kinda love it.
9. My mom and sis are coming out to see my graduate in May. (yay) Guess I need to go buy a hood and gown. (ugh)
10. Was hard not to make each of these points something to whine about. Long week. (Oh wait, it's Tuesday...)

1. My DH got up at 3:30am this morning to be at the airport in time to make his flight to Baltimore. It's a good thing we only live 10 minutes from the airport.
2. There are construction guys across the hall, in our old production area, building new offices and it's quite loud. I can't wait to move out of my office, just to be away from our loud, obnoxious sales guys who have no volume control, but I'll be moving into a smaller office with no windows and I currently have two big windows (but it's freezing in here during the winter). I have to have both my PC and my MAC in the office with me and I'm not quite sure how all my stuff is going to fit.
3. They better super soundproof these new offices because the new conference room is going to be on the other side of the wall and I will go ballistic if I can hear every freaking conference call and meeting.
4. I keep forgetting it's Easter this weekend and I'm not prepared. I am not religious at all, and we don't really celebrate it other than giving Easter baskets and hiding eggs around the house. I need to sneak to the store and buy stuff for the kids' baskets.
5. My mom is having birthday dinner for two of my nephews on Sunday and I'm not prepared for that, either. I think they're each going to get gift cards. Boring.
6. My dad finished his chemotherapy a couple of weeks ago and was feeling really terrible until he had a 2nd blood transfusion last week (2nd one in 5 days) and he woke up the next day feeling rejuvenated enough to want to go to Mohegan Sun (my parents go there a lot).
7. I'm tired of working until 5pm and having to rush through every evening with my kids. I wish I could cut my hours down to part time, but my employer would never let me do that because I'm an account manager and I have to be available all day until we close at 5pm. ::poop::
8. I made a pork roast in the crock pot yesterday and it was delicious. I all I did was rub a packet of onion soup mix on it and dump cranberry sauce over and cook it on low for 10 hours. Yum.
9. My 5 year old wouldn't eat her dinner last night, so we told her she's going to eat it tonight and she said she's fine with that, and even asked me this morning if she can eat it tonight. We'll see how that goes. lol
10. We bought a dresser from a guy on Craigslist yesterday and when we got to the house, it was clear that he had just moved into his elderly mother's basement. He didn't realize I was there and was being kind of a douche to his mother and I kind of wanted to pass on buying the dresser because he was a jerk, but it was a very nice dresser for only $50 and we have been looking for one for the extra bedroom we're setting up for our future foster child. I actually think I'm going to put it in my 8 year old's room and put her dresser in the spare bedroom.

I get asked all the time if I liked Charmed, because I have a tattoo of a trinity knot on my ankle.  It makes me chuckle.
Also, I bought the hood & gown for my grad school graduation the day before the ceremony, lol.  Way to wait until last minute.

1) we had a great visit with B's BM this weekend, and she gave us a really sweet note thanking us for taking in her son, etc. It made DH all teary.
2) we are going to see MIL and BIL/SIL + their kids this weekend. We haven't been since Christmas, so it should be good.
3) B is in a weird place with sleep lately and it's making me crazy. He's currently in his crib, talking/yelling to himself instead of sleeping.
4) I was supposed to video chat with a running coach about my form this afternoon, but he didn't answer my Hangout call, so IDK what's going on.
5) I'm also waiting for a delivery of wine from Club W. I hope it comes today, because otherwise I'll have to skip our playgroup Easter party to wait for it tomorrow.
6) I went and had my medication adjusted for my thyroid today. She said we will re-check in 3 months, and if it is still not stable I will get a thyroid ultrasound.
7) I've been dealing with some anxiety/stress/worry/whathaveyou lately and it was really bad yesterday. I feel a bit more level today, but I still need to make some changes in my life for sure.
8) our back yard looks like a jungle and we just haven't had the time to deal with it on the weekends. We are going to have to do something soon, though.
9) my star from my Starbucks purchase yesterday isn't showing up yet. Once it does I will have a free drink!
10) I need a bunch of new clothes for spring/summer but I don't want to shell out for them. I feel like we've been spending a ton lately, even if it's not true.

1. Enjoyed a waiting families dinner with our local agency last night
2. But looks like it could be a year+ to get in local pool of waiting families :-(
3.  Enjoyed having my parents here for a few days during DS spring break
4.  Really hoping it gets warmer soon

7.  Feeling a bit stressed over $ + adoption lately
8.  Making small but good progress on my business

10. DS warmed my heart at egg hunt this weekend as he and an older girl got to an egg at the same time- he picked it up and offered it to her and she offered it back as she had more than him- very proud mama moment!!!

1) It's girls night. We're getting korean food, drinking local hard cider, and watching OITNB!
2) My MIL showed up drunk to dinner for my FIL. The. drama. never. ends.
3) My Godson comes to visit in three weeks. We plan to go to a baseball game, the trampoline park, and the Lego store. He has also requested chicken wings and peanut butter cookie cake.
4) We have a public read through of our next show tomorrow night. I'm excited to hear what the cast has been working on and to get some feedback for our design team. It's not something that is normally part of our process and I'm anxious to see what kind of value it adds and how it helps to shape our next show.
5) It's only Tuesday. It needs to be Friday.
6) We've got reservations for the restaurant where we had our first date for Friday. I'm excited for date night.
7) Ladies spring hockey league starts Thursday. It's Tuesday and I can't seem to get folks to let me know if they're going to be there. We might have one very short bench.
8) We got word last night that things are picking up with our agency and actually getting really busy on the expectant mom front! Fingers crossed our time is coming to match very soon.
9) Basketball is almost over, women's hockey is over, it's a darn good thing that spring football game is next week. After that, I might go crazy (or start watching softball/baseball) until college sports start up again.
10) Our six week bootcamp class is almost over. I feel stronger and more fit. I am very excited for the next bootcamp to start. I'm thinking that crossfit might be in my future.

jenn, you should definitely sign your brother up for online dating! My older brother (29) joined match.com in November and went on his first ever date about three weeks later. He then joined eharmony and has his first ever girlfriend and seems super happy.

1. Looking forward to seeing an off-Broadway play this Friday, even though it was my husband's choice.

2. I'm getting a little sad about the thought of the girls leaving.

3. My freelance assignment has been renewed for six months. Yay!

4. I desperately need to start exercising again, but I always have excuses. With the girls gone for spring break beginning this Thursday, there's no reason it can't be done.

5. I can never think of 10 things. I'm so lame, lol.

1. The mother of one of my students asked me after school today if I wanted to buy one of her kids. I feel proud of myself that I managed not to a) give a sarcastic answer or b) punch her.
2. I'm so ready for spring break it's not even funny.
3. DH and I start our IMPACT classes on Saturday!
4. I feel like I dropped off the face of the earth for a while there after DH dropped the bomb that he wanted to pursue fertility testing.
5. We are officially painting the guest room in preparation of it being a child's room starting next week.
6. My doctor put me on a new diet (what I call the "no fun diet") and I'm pretty much obsessed with these spinach and kale chips I found that are diet friendly.
7. I have lost almost 10 pounds since last Sunday on this diet and I'm still grumpy about missing out on my favorite foods.
8. My tomato plants have five little green tomatoes on them. This makes me feel weirdly accomplished.
9. Our younger dog has a double ear infection so he is extra cuddly lately. I feel bad for him since I know exactly how painful those suckers can be. I had one myself just two weeks ago.
10. I'm so glad it's been warm enough to wear sundresses again. My work wardrobe just expanded by 1000%.
