I'm a sahm of a 3yo and 4mo, and I pump for all daytime feeds (she'll only nyrse overnight, usually once, sometimes 2x). Right now that's every 2 hrs bc that 's how often LO eats and my boobs seem slow to refill. But i keep reading how people will drop a pump and actually get what they need at the next session, I'm curious if that would maybe work for me. Right now my pump times are approx 7:30, 10, 12, 2, 4, 6 and 9. Which session would you start with as far as dropping?
I would consider dropping the 6pm one or spacing out the late afternoon ones more-- instead of 4 or 6, do a 5pm. When I EP'd my longest break between pumps was 2/3 until 7/8 and I really liked that because I could hang out with DD and DH after work (although I know you are a SAHM), go out to get dinner, etc. without worrying about pumping, etc.
ETA: Definitely do not drop or further space out your morning pumps. That would really hurt your supply.

That's what i was thinking too... It's s so tough to entertain DD1, get dinner on the table etc with that pump session there. And yea, I actually try to squeeze an extra morning pump most days before DD1's school drop off, so 7am then 8:30 and off to school....
