Wine and Whine....Wednesday...Errr Thursday

We missed this yesterday. 

Wine: I get to play on the same hockey team as one of my best friends for the first time in five or more years starting tonight!!!

Whine: The co-worker that I have to spend all day working with seems to be in a foul mood. My desire to deal with his attitude is very, very low.

Wine: It's been gorgeous out. I got in some long walks and short runs. I love spring when it's actually spring.

Whine: My 24 year old brother and his 22 year old wife told me yesterday they were expecting and due in November. I haven't cried that much in a long long time. He will probably now have the first grandkid if we aren't placed by then. I know. Big pity party. I am happy for him. Just sad for me.

badgergirl66, Hugs! We had the same thing happen at our house except. We will now have the last grandchild most likely.

Wine: My boss (well, the president of our company) and my friend/co-worker and I are going out after work because we got a notification from beermenus.com that a nearby restaurant just got in a very hard-to-find IPA called Fuzzy Baby Ducks and we've been wanting to try it. It's supposed to be really good, but only certain restaurants get it and then they sell out of it within hours.

Whine: Today has been crazy busy because my company screwed up one of my client's jobs, so I ran around like a crazy person until that was settled and then it's just been nonstop since then. I can really use that beer!

Wine - we found a new apartment for next year in a great neighborhood that will double our living space.

Whine - One of my close friends yesterday posted on FB that they're pursuing private adoption because they don't think agencies are ethical. Which, as someone who went through an agency, put me in a bad mood. L's birth mom seemed to have all her needs taken care of and seemed well supported by the agency. It really hurts to think that someone would allude to the fact that wasn't true. I'm fine if they want to go private for whatever reasons and wish them the best and maybe I'm being overly sensitive, but that part just hurt

Wine: Got my hair redyed today. She put in low-light of my natural color so it grows out a little more naturally this time. And the massage the shampooer gave me was AMAZING.

Whine: The weather was so nice, we were hoping to grill for the first time this year. But it's too breezy and the fire wouldn't start.

Wine: The girls went to their mom's for most of spring break and won't be back until next Wednesday.

Whine: I am missing them already.

packerfan4life Double the square footage sounds amazing. Sorry about the FB post. I disagree with their reasoning too, and don't know why they felt the need to try to justify their decision.

And thanks everyone for the hugs. I feel a little better today. I'll be back whining in 10 weeks when they announce the sex of the baby. If it's a girl, I might not be able to handle it. My dad is dying for a grand daughter. I might hide them on facebook for awhile so I don't see all the announcements.

The keg was kicked by the time we got there, so we didn't get to try it. We were all bummed!

Whine: My co-workers are arseholes. I don't want to get into it again but seriously. I've never been more livid in my entire life than I was yesterday.

Wine: It's FRIDAY!!! TGIF!!

Wine: 1) My BIL/SIL and kids are coming up from GA to visit next week. 2) We are having a big crowd over for Easter dinner

Whine: I am feeling really down about the wait lately, we are going on 3 months for the Peruvian government to approve us and its killing me:(.

Wine: We did our video (for the profile) yesterday. Hugely relieved as we were really nervous! Think it went okay but haven't seen it yet.

Whine: Was hoping to wrap all paperwork up this week but our social worker still hasn't gotten back to us with feedback about our profile. GRRRR.... As if they aren't already 2 months late than the original schedule.
