DD gathering Easter eggs in our living room and running to chuck the eggs in her basket afterwards was the cutest thing I've seen in a longgggg time.
We also got a TON of organizing done in our basement and kitchen. We moved in a week before DD1 was born and didn't get time to unpack some of the boxes before now. Next weekend is the garage if I can pull my husband a way from watching the Masters
is it bad to say that Friday was the highlight because the kids went to day care and DH went to work and I had a day off to myself for the first time in like...oh maybe 3 years?

Favorite moment was probably dancing around like an idiot to Frozen in front of my parents with DD who starts dancing during the very opening music to the movie...... The music that plays while the Disney logo shows. She was laughing and bopping away - so cute Easter as a whole was very relaxing and a lot of fun.
We went to Easter dinner at a friend's house on Friday night. The food was amazing and DD was so cute playing with the little boys. It was nice to relax with friends, as the rest of the weekend was spent with DH's family in utter chaos.

No. Tell us more so we can live vicariously through you! Did you nap? Shop? Hair cut? Just sit at a coffee shop? Eat without sharing?
I went to Target and got all my ingredients for my Easter brunch, spent about an hour and a half zoning out in Target, came home and did a quick clean job, washed all our bedding (which is a big feat, I feel like our bedding is the last thing to get washed so it never happens - Gross), sat down and ate lunch and watched some real housewives, then did my nails and it was 3pm. Like dude.....where did the time go!
We attended Easter Vigil Saturday evening, but it was too late for DD and she was on the verge of a meltdown about 10 minutes in. Sunday we just hosted brunch with some friends which was very nice and relaxing. Glad we kept it low key
I loved the whole day yesterday. DD and I hit the grocery store early morning, then she got her easter basket full of goodies. After that we all headed over to DH's grandmothers house for lunch and an egg hunt which DD LOVED and it was so cute!
Then back home to prepare dinner for my brother's family who came over to eat and play games. It was just a fun day and DD really enjoyed it which made it that much better.
I had three hours home alone. I did lesson planning for three hours. I really needed an entire day for lesson planning. I skipped going out with my mom (visiting) and my aunt for a day of shopping so I could lesson plan. Also, DH needed to study (that is all he does) when he came back from his parent with DS. DH needed to help his dad and his mom wanted to see DS. DH does not understand how much work it takes to plan lessons, especially when you have to reinvent the wheel.
Finally had gorgeous weather on Easter, so was able to take DS for a 3 Mile jog/walk and to the park...I love anything outdoors but I'm a bit of a baby in the cold so this was perfect.
