Whats happening today? Anything new or exciting?

I am looking forward to doing nothing tonight! I made a full turkey dinner yesterday so I don't have to cook dinner for a few days! After DD is in bed I plan on watching tv and being lazy. I am so tired now I can't imagine how tired I will be this evening.

I need to pack for our camping trip I went to the store and loaded up that food. I need to do a run through thr pantry in the house and grabs few things.

Random question: Does anybody have any good recommendations for body acne (something good for dry skin)? I've been breaking out on my chest and back for a few months and I can't stand it. Thanks in advance!

Husband and I finished up our shopping today so I spent hours walking around the mall. We also packed a cooler full of salmon and steaks to take back to Angola.

Now I'm getting ready for our last dinner here. Truth be told, I would rather lay in bed and order room service but I'm going to suck it up for my husband.

I just woke up from an accidental 2 hour nap. I had intentions of taking a 30 min nap, alarm set and all. I woke up so out of it but man it felt gooooood! Is it bad I'm already looking forward to bed haha

I wish I could nap during the day, but if I do I wake up feeling like I got hit by a truck, it's awful

Thats why I only wanted to take a quick nap, anything more than 30 mins thats kinda how I feel. Takes me a little bit to shake that off.

Called the doc's office. The scheduler is out, but it sounds like they are going to try to get me in quickly. I was so nervous I nearly threw up. It's stupid, but there it is. I ate some birthday cake from the staff meeting and the nausea is decreasing but my nervous phone call and my not having eaten actual lunch is making me want to vomit.

Please remind me of what I already know internally - calling the doctor to set an appointment to discuss betas/progesterone and treatment protocol for my situation (not a current/active patient until I physically see her again, because it's been over a year) does not doom this to be a miscarriage. Oh god, this is not imaginary and in this moment, I'm feeling a wee bit terrified.

anonymouseliza Deep breaths, and know that not only will this not doom this pregnancy, it will help it grow You are being proactive. That's a good thing, not the other way around.

I got a call from my doctor finally. She said my beta at 4 weeks was 134, as of today (4w5d) it's above 1900 which she is very happy with. However, my progesterone at 4w was a little over 15, and is now down to 12. She said I will need to take suppositories nightly through 12 weeks. I'm nervous to know this, but also glad to know it because we can try to make it better.

So, whoever is on progesterone as well, be forewarned I may have some crazy questions in the next few days!

I had a similar situation with my last pregnancy; progesterone at 11 12 dpo dropped to 8 a week later.  I freaked the fuck out, and had a major hassle getting to see my doc because she was on vacation and similar to my current situation, I was not in active patient status so no one in the practice would see me.  I ended up on prometrium taken vaginally.  Goopy and not the most fun, but not too big a deal.  It got through with no issues!

mistabinx I take progesterone suppositories 2 times daily and it's no big deal. It isn't the most fun and it's kinda messy, but really that's it. Good luck!

I'll have the game on in bed. I can't stay up for the whole thing, not with how early I get up for work. But I will be cheering for the Badgers. I've got them slated to win, but it looks like I won my school pool regardless of winners since I had Wisconsin-Duke as my championship selection. Yay money!

so the scheduling nurse finally called me back, I had several "really?" moments while she tried to figure out my due date. "when was your LMP?" february 11th, but I don't think you want to go by that date, I have really long cycles *oh, do you know what day you conceived" I know I ovulated on the 16th "Oh so then you probably conceived around the 24th" I don't think so, the last day we had sex before my positive test was the 15th, I had a positive test on the 27th "Well, I guess we'll just say you're about 4 weeks along, I'll put a note that a dating ultra sound should be done"


I rolled my eyes and took the appointment she offered me on wednesday to confirm with a blood test, hopefully we can set things straight then.

Oof, that's too bad that someone whose job is to answer phones and schedule appointments based around conception can't even understand basic biology of conception.

Same thing happened to me (we have pretty much the same timeline). Even though I told the lady that according to when I ovulated I would be around 7 weeks at the time of the offered appt, she still kept saying it was a 9week appointment. I figure as long as the doc knows what to look for in the ultrasound, it should be ok. It does always make me a little leery of the practice though when they don't seem to understand these things.

Yea, this is suppose to be one of the better practices in the area, and it's the only one covered under my insurance.  I just hope the intake person is new or something. hopefully my chart will make it pretty clear that I'm 5w2d tomorrow.

So tired this morning. DS has been playing on the floor while I lay on the couch. I'm starting to get anxious on how to wean DS. He just had his first birthday last month. Id planned on extending weaning but now I'm not so sure. I have my confirmation appointment tomorrow.

My husband is off today because we just got back from our trip so we are going together to the ISOS clinic. I want to meet with the regular doctor so I can find out the process of meeting with an OBGYN. Hoping I can get a good plan in place. Ideally I would like to have an official appointment next week before making plans for my US appointment.

I'm not really sure what they will do for me today, but I'm still finding myself super nervous.

Morning! We're driving 5.5 hours today to look at houses in the new city we are moving to in July. My brother and SIL and mom are going to be there so we'll get to tell them about this new pregnancy.

I'm so tired. I woke up at 3:30am and couldn't get back to sleep until 5am. I hate pregnancy insomnia.
