Napper and non-napper?

Hi, all! I post once in a while on here, but mostly, I stick to my BMB. I have 2 kids, ages 1.5 (DD) and 3.5 (DS) and have been SAH for about 3 years.
My question is, DS is rapidly approaching his 4th birthday and already only naps about half the time. I have him go in his room for quiet time every afternoon, and if he naps, great, and if not, that is ok, too. He's very good about it most of the time. DD is just transitioning to 1 nap, taken during DS's quiet time. She is very good about napping, though she doesn't always nap as long as I'd like. (Do they ever? LOL)
I know that many kids drop naps around age 4, and I'm ok with that if DS doesn't need it at all anymore. But DD really needs a lot of quiet to get a good nap, not silence, just quieter than DS usually is. (She does fine with moderate housework noise, since that is when I get a lot of my cleaning done.)
So if you have a napper and a non-napper at home, how do you handle nap time? Does your non-napper have to do something really quiet, like watch TV or color? Did your napper just get used to the noise and learn to sleep through it? (If so, how long did that adjustment take?) Do you usually keep them both home during nap time or do the nap on-the-go (stroller, car seat, etc.)? Do you still require some quiet time from your non-napper? What are your kids' ages?
TIA!
