Well, since we've been TTC for awhile, I feel like I've tried a lot. We've been doing BBT, Preseed and OPKs since the beginning. I've tried pineapple core 1-5dpo. I've tried Mucinex for increased CM. I'm considering trying the Softcups this cycle just for shits and gigs. Mostly I've been trying to get myself the healthiest I can: exercising, eating healthy, drinking a lot of water and getting in a better mental place.
Don't do the softcups! BTDT back when i stated TTC. Messy and gross. Not worth it and didn't help at all.
If you really really want to try though I'll mail you the rest of the box I have.
I am taking prenatals and trying to drink more water. This cycle I was drier than all of my previous ones but I think it was due to timing of my O day falling on the day before my thesis defense (stress and not being good about water intake). We bought Preseed for next time if it remains an issue.
I know my LP length will be a problem so I did take 100mg B6 early last cycle for a couple days but it made me feel tingly and while that cycle I had a longer LP, I'm not willing to deal with neurological effects too so I stopped that. So just hoping with good timing and the chance of a longer LP (varies 9-12 days) we can be successful this year. We will see what's in the cards
Are you sure you weren't taking too much B-6? Sounds like what happens when when your doses are too high. It already exists in your prenatal vitamin.
That's why I had stopped, because it is a known overdose symptom. I literally only did it for about 3 days and noticed my arms and legs were falling asleep even in simple positions that shouldn't have. It faded to normal in a week or so so I'm just not doing it again. And yes it does but usually you do 50-100 for LPD. The PNVs I take have just 2.6mg, which is hardly any in comparison. I decided to stop playing around with my body and just stick to the PNV.

ETA: I also took GNC Fertility Blend (basically green tea and vitex) the last 2 cycles. That has really helped to shorten my overall cycle. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this cycle or not. My LP is within normal range without the Vitex so I might just drink more green tea.
Be careful with Vitex, it can do more harm than good. After talking with my RE about it I trust spearmint tea a lot more for hormone regulation. Just because something is natural doesn't necessarily mean it is safe.

Not sure if it helps but a cup of green tea a day is very good for you in general so it couldn't hurt.
I don't really take things to help me get pregnant as much as I take things to help me stay pregnant if I do so that's all the other stuff I put down in WTO posts. Baby Asprin, lovenox and Folgard are all the things I take along with BBT, OPKs and PNVs. They are for my MTHFR. Lots of blood thinners and folic acid.
I've never heard of these.
I'm taking prenatals, and trying to eat healthy, more water etc. I'm also going to try some fertility yoga as well.
Lovenox is an injection. It's s blood thinner that my RE has put me on that I start each cycle after ovulation. Folgard is a prescription vitamin that's basically a shit ton of folic acid and b vitamins. The baby aspirin is also to help thin my blood. I have MTHFR which can cause blood clotting disorder and also keeps my body from metabolizing folic acid properly.
I know these aren't things everyone does unless prescribed by a RE or OB. I just added them here since I am always posting them as a part of my TTC regimen in WTO and TWW.

ruthgoose and mrsjene--I looked it up last night, and the maximum is 100mg of B-6. I agree with mrsjene.

Oh ok! I wasn't sure if it was something over the counter or not.

Cutting down on caffeinated coffee, taking prescription PNVs, will be taking CoQ10 when Passover is finished, using Preseed, cutting down on alcohol.
I'm also in the IF category though, and these are things I'm doing in conjunction with Clomid and hopefully trigger + IUI if timing works out this cycle. Most people can get pregnant just fine with regular timed sex.

What is this?
I've also heard that green tea is great for CM but after O, however some believe you should stop as it could hinder implantation. This never made sense to me as if you drank it for 2 weeks or more straight, it would still be in your system even after you stop
There are some yoga poses that help with fertility and increase blood flow to your uterus. I can't remember who mentioned it on the boards before, but I looked it up on pinterest and I try to do some of the poses/stretches every night.
Here's one I had never heard of. I went to the doctor (not GKU related) and said we were trying and he said for DH to take extra zinc? I googled it and I got a fun Wiki facts thing that said a lot about sperm but I don't trust wiki anything. Anyone else hear about this?
The cycle I got pregnant was the cycle MH started taking a multi-vitamin. #anecdote
Someone mentioned Green tea, and I've never heard of this. So I was curious if there were other things out there that help as well.

The swimmers that got you KTFU were 3 mo old, but a men's multi-vitamin is good regardless
What's the deal with spearmint tea, samanthasays? That sounds tasty.
Recommended daily intake is (according to Mayo Clinic) 1.3 milligrams. Maximum safe dosage is 100 milligrams. That is a big difference.
My question is - if you're getting that 1.3mg, are you deficient? And if not, is there a reason to increase your intake?
It all depends on your absorption rate. You should always have your levels checked before increasing doses. I have super low vitamin B and D levels even with supplements.

Make sense. I just wondered if my shorter LPs were related to that. I was thinking more like maybe I should eat more foods rich in vitamin B rather than "I should totally start taking a supplement."
Lollipop--You should definitely be taking PNVs. Studies have shown that taking PNVs prior to conception can reduce birth defects.
I know that. I just got my IUD out 6 days ago. I just haven't had a chance to pick any up yet. We're sending Friday running errands so I'll grab some then.

DH has always taken a centrum chewable. He switched to rainbow light this month (his research) and after Saturday added extra zinc. I'm not expecting anything from it.

Yeah you don't want to (and can't) add lovenox on a whim!

@erin2021, oh sorry it didn't necessarily need "fixing" lol. It made sense I just overthink things
No its all good! I felt it read wrong when I first wrote it out, but then forgot to change it after I wrote the question lol! When I got home from work I realized how odd it sounded and fixed the wording.
