Tell us about your finger nails and toe nails. Do you usually get mani/pedis or do you do them yourself?  What's your routine, what colors are you currently wearing, how often do you paint them or do you just leave them bare?  Do you have a favorite brand of polish and/or color?

I typically leave them bare unless I have a gel manicure which 90% of the time I do a french manicure. I always want to do a color on my nails when I get a gel mani but the french just lasts so much longer and looks more professional for work. Toes I let go and do nothing until I have an event or summer thing to go to. I just don't have time to do both with two toddlers. Hence the gel mani - no dry time! I should do a gel pedi too since they last for freakin ever!

I hate people touching my feet, so no pedicures for me! Before baby I would paint them myself during the summer. Since baby, I only bother for weddings or other big events.

I don't generally paint my fingernails. I just prefer the look of bare nails on me, though I think colors look fun on other people. I think the only times I've ever had a manicure were for my wedding and a friend's wedding in which I was a bridesmaid.

These days all I do is trim them. I have very thin, fragile nails that peel and tear. I have tried acrylic and shellac several times, but everything lifts and causes terrible damage to my nails. I do like the look of polish, but these days I never have the time to get them painted and dry without smudging, and when I do it only lasts 1-2 days so it's not worth it.

I never have my finger nails done, the polish just doesn't last with everyday wear (dishes, gardening, cleaning, etc) so it's a waste of time.

I do always keep my toenails done though, I do them myself since I'm not a huge fan of pedis. Currently they are a fuchsia colour.

My fingernails are cut as short as possible with no nail polish which was mandatory during my Hospital working days. Now that I work in an outpatient area with less strict rules I could change it up, but it seems to work better for me this way.

I usually paint my toes myself, usually a summery shade from April-Sept and then they are kept bare for the rest of the year because of upstate NY weather/constant socks.

Amen! My "birth plan" consisted of being able to wear socks...seriously. Of course I had a horrid allergic reaction to the hospital socks (seriously so bad I thought I had MERSA and spent nights crying and not being able to sleep even when my 5 day old was sleeping, and had to go on such powerful drugs to clear it up that I had to pump and dump for a week....but I digress).

I cut my nails when they get long and get manicures only when I have important events (like my wedding). I kind of wish I cared more, but I'm too lazy and not overly girly.

I never do anything with my nails. I hate the feeling of polish on them. Plus, I'm a nail biter.

I like to get pedicures once in awhile but find it hard to justify the cost so I usually do it myself. Occasionally my mom and I go for fun! I usually always have some colour on my toes though. DD loves pointing at them, so sometimes we'll paint her toes with Piggy Polish.

My fingernails are usually bare and short, with the exception of weddings that I'm in.

I get at least one mani/pedi a year, usually 2 or 3 if I can find the time to go. I do them myself sometimes. I clip them a few times a month when they get long and in the way. I've been into bolder reds and pinks lately (last couple years), though I do like other colors on my toes. My nails are usually bare, and I've never had fake nails or gels.  I generally prefer OPI color, but since I don't use polish very often, I don't get very picky and buy whatever suits my fancy when I'm buying it. (I loved Wet N Wild as a teen. Do they still make that?)

I just get a regular mani/pedi and usually opt for neutral or light pink Colors. I recently bought some jam berry nails but haven't figured out how to do them yet. I plan on getting my first pedi for the spring season this week

My nails stay bare and clipped. I like acrylic but can't afford it and polish doesn't stay on otherwise.

Toes are always painted with the exception of 2 months this winter, I can't believe I went that long. I always keep them polished. And do them myself..

Lol Unknown, they kept trying to put the hospital socks on me in labor and when we moved to our regular room and I was like "my feet are warm, get these things of of me".

I love pedicures and would get them more often if we weren't trying to not spend money. I don't really care much how my fingernails look, so I typically only get a manicure when there's something special going on.

I hate my feet and I wish I got pedicures more ( so does my husband lol) but I always seem to have other things to spend my money on. I tried to say that I would get 1 a month, that it was my well deserved "me time" but really it's like every 2 months. I really need one right now.....it's been since February! Like other people, I tend to only do my fingernails when there is a reason to.

Pedicures for the most part, and occasionally a mani. I am hopeless with painting my own nails!

I like to do gel because it lasts longer, and I probably get them done every 2 months or so!
