Hi all, I am new on this page. I was on another website, but, it seems like a lot of people moved to this one so I am hoping to find some support here.
I am 31 year old and DH is 31 as well. We have been trying to concieve for almost 9 months.However I have a unique situation so I know 9 months may not seem like long.
My signature gives most of my information but here is the jist of it: I was diagnosed with a Pituitary tumor when I as 21- Had brain surgery, radiation and then was on medical therapy for a few years. I am being monitored now. I have Acromegly which is excess growth hormone however, my levels are doing really well in the normal range. I was on the pill before and after surgery. I went off the pill and never received a period. We tried to use medication to get period and it was very little. I have done two rounds of Chlomid (50 and 100) with not a follicle growing at all. Started IUI injections today. Menopur. I go back to the doctor Friday.
Just feeling a bit lonely-although I know you are all in the same boat. It's so hard when people are constantly asking you about having kids or getting pregnant themselves. I even had a girl tell me on Friday that she dreamed I was pregnant. I felt like telling her I dream I am pregnant too!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. If anyone has been on Menopur anything I can expect? I didn't feel like all the meds went into the syringe but I think I got most of it.
