YESSSS!!! I am so excited!! Favourite.. that is a hard question. Tyrion and Baelish I think right now. I almost need a season 4 refresher before season 5 starts.
I am also looking forward to see where Tyrion and Varys are going. Also did the show ever get to what Varys was doing with that old sorcerer in the crate? I think that was Season 3.
yay! big issue in our lives will be how to watch it. I don't like watching tv while LO is awake so we only watch when he is nursing. Also I don't stay up that late. I don't know if DH will be willing to watch it in 15 minute segments!
Fave character is Arya.
Anyone else have read the books? I'm excited to see where the series goes as they overtake whats been written.
Yes!! Winter is coming !!! (In Australia so that's actually true LOL) My fave character is Arya!! I seriously considered a few baby names from GoT but ended up having a boy Not long until S5 !!!
I have read all the books, we named DD after a minor GoT character (Roslin Frey, the woman that Edmure Tully married at the Red Wedding). Mostly because we really liked the name, not necessarily because of the character herself.
I'm very excited for the show to come back, I'm really curious to see the changes this season. There have already been some big changes, but this is really where the show is going to take a big separation from the series I think.
My favorite character has to be Sansa (Martin just released a chapter from the next book, Winds of Winter, from Sansa's PoV and I loved it). Other favorites are Tyrion, Jaime, Brienne, Davos, Baelish, Jorah, Barristan, Sandor (the Hound).... I have a lot of favorites, ha.
YUP!! So excited!! I remember thinking when I was pregnant that I'd have Isla (middle name SHAY! ) on a schedule by the time it returns. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha HA!! Side note-super awkward trying to explain to people where Isla's middle name originates from... and my husband wanted to name her Arya soooo bad thankfully his niece named her daughter Ara so it was no longer up for discussion. Oh and Jon Snow! Hubba-hubba!

My husband and I are so excited! He has read all the books, but I am currently on book 4. *That's embarrassing since I'm the English teacher and he teaches math.*
I love Tyrion. He is such an ass! Also, Jon Snow is just yummy.
I feel like the only person that isn't a huge fan of Jon Snow. I guess I just prefer the older actors. And in the books his plotline isn't my favorite. Oh well.
Yes! Me too. DH has read all the books. I call him my got Wikipedia. I was so excited to see it listed on my dvr to record list!
Arya is a fave of mine. I had it on my list of names for LO but her daddy vetoed it. (But I got my way with her middle Elizabeth (pride and predjudice but we tell everyone it's for my grandmother).

I agree but he's hot.
Even hotter IMO was the guy who played Robb. I thought Robb was super boring and dumb in the books but damn was I sad when he died on the show.
And the hottest, Prince Oberyn. I loved him in the books and the casting was spot on for the show.
I'm excited to see Dorne and the rest of the south on the show.
I really love Jaime (and his actor), I can't wait for him to get out of King's Landing so we can start to see more of his character development.
{Spoiler} I'm so mad that in the show they left out the bit about Tyrion finding out his first wife Tysha wasn't actually a whore that lied to him, which is the real reason Tyrion killed Tywin. The other problem with that being left out was Tyrion telling Jaime that Cersei had been cheating on him with like everyone. His reaction to that is hugely important to his character development, augh.

Ah I can't wait. I've only read 2 of the books but I binge watched the last 3 seasons towards the end of my pregnancy. We dropped cable for a long time so it was nice to have HBO back with on demand.
I'm super excited. I love Arya, Tyrion, and Jon Snow. I want to read the books, but I'm having trouble making time to read. We plan to watch on HBO Go. We used to get together with friends, cook dinner and watch the dvr-ed episode on Mondays. But now we will probably just watch it after the kids go to sleep.
I've read the books but I can hardly remember the plotlines (there are so many, haha). And then me and DH tried to watch it together and made it through the first two seasons, but totally dropped the ball on season three. DH doesn't really like spending his evenings watching too much TV, so he never suggests watching an episode, which makes me feel like a broken record when I ask. So we stopped watching.
I really want to see them though, so I should just watch them on my own. But then I'll feel bad when they are awesome and he's not there to see them... Ah, the pains of marriage!

Part of the reason we went for Brandon rather than Brendon was GoT. Although we havnt called him Bran at all.
Haven't read the books (DH has) so please excuse my misspelling. I like Margery and her grandma, Jorah, Cersei (I love to hate her). Also I like Sam and baby Sam and can't think of the mom's name.
I'm so over aria and deanyris. They just pissed me off this last season.
