My favorite brand is American Eagle, but I also wear Old Navy. Before I got pregnant with D and for awhile after, I couldn't wear my American Eagle jeans, so I wore Old Navy but they stretch too much and need washed more often. So excited to finally fit back into my AE jeans!! But I'd like to try new brands! I prefer the straight leg/skinny styles!
I have all different brands of jeans, I have trouble finding a pair that fit well, so I'm not too picky about the brand, as long as they fit. These days I generally wear skinny jeans or a straight leg. I'm 5'4" which puts me right between petite and regular sizes, so boot cut is either too short (petite) or I end up walking on regular length ones. Skinny jeans are great because they still look great if they hit at the ankle and if they are longer they don't slide over my foot and drive me crazy.
It's really hard for me to find jeans that fit long legs and are curvy through the hips and thighs. So I'm not loyal to a particular brand - just whatever I can find that fits. I was having good luck with jeans from White House Black Market, but they changed their designs right after DS was born. Now they don't fit my curves as well since they're cut slimmer through the leg. Since I got pregnant again relatively quickly, I didn't bother shopping for new jeans last year. Clearly I'll need new ones this winter after baby 2 is born. I'd love to hear any recommendations people have!

Most of my pants are from Gap just because they come in Tall and are sized consistently. I'm 5'11" so it's hard for me to find something in a department store that fits.
I have really bad varicose veins, so I've stopped wearing anything that shows them. My go-to is skinny jeans with Toms. I'm really hoping to have surgery on them this year because I hate being so self conscious of them.
No favorite brand. Like others, I just want jeans that fit. I shop stores where there is a petite section in the store. I usually shop for jeans at Ann Taylor, The Loft, or Banana Republic. I like boot, trouser, or straight leg. No hips here. Even in petites I still need to get jeans/pants hemmed. I wear flats. Even in heels the length is still long.
It's funny how what you like changes with age and what's in style. When I was younger, flare and bootleg were instyle so that's what I was used to. It took me awhile but now I like skinny jeans I don't have many pairs ( I always feel I need to buy more clothes and never really do) I have a pair of Sevens I love and a pair of Hudson's that are great.
I'm cheap, I won't pay more than $30 foot a pair. I've been buying mine at Wal-Mart the last couple of years. I like boot cut. I don't wear skinny legs unless I'm wearing boots because I have chicken legs and feel they make my legs look even smaller, I like them on other people with flats and sandals though.
I like Kut of the Kloth jeans, and Seven for all Mankind when I can find them on sale. I prefer a boot cut or flare, I do not look good in skinny jeans as I am a bit curvy.
I'm not brand loyal at all. I get most of mine from Kohl's. I typically either wear boot-cut or skinny style jeans.
jlprybs927, what is with the "moderation note"? Were you sassy?
redfraggle I literally have no idea? I edited my post to fix spelling, but I can't even see that I had a mod note on mobile? No idea.
It literally says "moderation note: fixed spelling" in your first reply and "Moderation note: add to question" in your OP. Maybe when we edit, that happens?
ETA: just trying to edit to test my theory. Using Firefox. Edited again. I don't see any moderation notes for it.
I have always had luck with Joes jeans. I tend to go much higher end with my jeans as I wear them to work and so they have to have a professional tailored look. I love a trouser jean for work but for the first time I have a pair of skinny jeans that I also wear to work. Im short so I have a hell of a time with jeans. Other brands that I own Hudson, seven, AG, Lit. I really love my Lit jeans. I have ZERO luck with Gap jeans, the fit is bad on me and the pockets make my ass look bigger.
I wear Paige jeans mostly and I get them skinny. I recently bought a pair of Gap jeans and they stretched out a lot after just 1 wear so I don't love them. I also bought a pair from Madewell that I really like. They were pinstripe but I'd consider getting a regular pair from there as well because I really like the fit.

redfraggle I did it from Safari on my phone so I don't know if that made a difference or not? Strange.

I'm so clueless when it comes to fashion. I had no clue what Joe's jeans were until someone commented on how adorable DD looked in her little joe's. I picked them up for $2.50 at a second hand store, they were cute and fit great so I was happy with the brand since it's hard to find jeans that fit her. Ah...that's why they fit great and are so cute

I have found kids Joes at thrift stores too! My son has a pair. DD also has a pair of Joes skinny jeans that we found at Nordstrom Rack. I honestly can't believe people spend that kind of money on jeans for kids!
