Least favorite commercial? (minor venting)

So I keep the radio on most days at work, and they keep airing this commercial that's pissing me off more each time I hear it.  It's about mortgage lending, and it's for Citibank (or something else Too Big To Fail--obviously the product part of it escapes me).  Anyway, it features a couple going back and forth about whether they should buy a house and ends with this:

Woman: "and we'll have a back yard, so our kids can run around."
Man: "We don't have any kids yet."
Woman: "Oh, yeah. Sooooo, we also should try to move in the next nine months."
Man: "Nine months?  Oh!"

Because everybody know that's how you get pregnant--just like that!  Without even talking (or thinking) about it!  It's easy, and a baby is a fun surprise for your husband!  That ad is so cuuute!

OK, I'm overreacting, but I'm hormonal (and getting BFNs), and my butt is all bruised up from the progesterone shots.  I just can't with that ad. 

Anyway, any commercials (especially TTC related ones) that make you ladies ragey?  Or ones you like, I suppose?

I did hear that commercial, and I got really irritated at the time!!

I never heard that one, but the ones that get me are the stupid Halo ones were the kids are mean if they don't have their Halo oranges. It's like the ultimate high five to rewarding bad behavior.

My favorite one is still the Adroid commercial with the Robin Hood song and the animals together.

I don't care for most commercials, but one that really ticked me off several years ago was for some tax preparer. It said something like, "Do you have empty wallet-itis?" -itis means inflammation - I would love a swollen wallet. It's not a big deal, but it bugged me every time I heard it. A commercial I *love* is for insurance of some sort where the couple are doing Dirty Dancing moves and they collapse the table when she comes running in for the lift. IT just cracks me up because that's totally something I would do.

I haven't seen it but I get easily annoyed at a lot of commercials. hugs for the annoyance factor!

One I do really like is a couple shown at different ages/stages first they're never going to have a child, then never going to move to the suburbs, have a minivan, or another child. Of course the lady is pregnant. I do like it bc it is done, to me, in a sweet way; however I do tear up when I think that dh may never have the experience of two.

That Dirty Dancing couple is us too!!! I think it's for United healthcare? And OMG, I haven't seen that tax commercial but that would grate my nerves, bad!!

tiresiastheblond,I have not seen or heard that commercial but I don't like it from just hearing about it. lickwed, I hate that Halo commercial too. My favorites are the two Honey Nut Cheerio's commercials with the bi-racial family, and the second one where the little girl is told she is going to have a baby brother but then she throws in that she wants "a puppy". I just giggle every time I see it. rnmommy, I laughed so hard the first time I saw that commercial that I was crying.

We have State Farm and hate their rates (currently insurance shopping!) but I LOVE that commercial! I love how the H is I will never throughout and at the end he says, while embracing his kids, "I'll never let you go..." Totally tugs on my heartstrings every single time! (And hugs to you and YH ❤️)

Another one I like (although not TTC related) is a deli meat commercial where their tag line is that it tastes like turkey from the holidays w/o the holidays. They have several but my fave is the interracial fam (where the wife is Latina) b/c it reminds me of MH and my crazy family LOL!!! There's two versions out there, the condensed one and the longer version - the latter is hands down a lot more hilarious!!

rnmommy the dirty dancing one cracks me up! DH always jokingly tries to get us to do it...until I remind him that I have the grace of an armadillo and weigh about the same as he does...

Not TTC related at all but I hate the progressive insurance radio ads. The TV ads with that flo character are mildly annoying but the ones on the radio make me insanely annoyed...stupid characters that are total non sequiturs for the point of the ad and are just annoying...and some have songs...omg I'm ragey just thinking about them (they play nonstop here too).

Oh oh...another one...there's an ad for some secret city Pepsi (or some other company, I can't remember) created last year and the ad says "created a once in a lifetime experience" or something like that and then says...and we're doing it again. Well then, it's not a once in a lifetime experience is it?!?

Can I be totally nosy and ask:

1) Why shots in the butt and not oral or suppositories?

2) Are you testing out your trigger, or should you be getting positives by now?  Not sure how transfer dates and DPOs translate?

Havent seen the original commercial but I like the one rnmommy mentioned too.

wannabmama, I'm not a Flo fan either and lickwed, the Halo commercials piss me off too.

The tear up one for me was the Zillow one where they are looking for a house and they find the tree house... and the one where they are looking over the phone and when they move in the military dad is in the house by surprise.

But the one I really like is the beer commercial where there is a life size pacman game with people in costumes. I soooooo want to play!

wirt2cute, I love those Cheerios commercials, too. The one with the puppy makes me tear up. I haven't seen most of the other ones you guys like. I think I listen to radio more than I watch TV.

lickwed, Oh, no, I'm on the suppositories too. And not to be all TMI, but they're tearing me up. I think I actually prefer the butt shots! I'm doing both because my RE has added progressively more progesterone with each cycle.

As to the trigger, yes, I tested it out. 4dp5dt is 9 dpo.

There's one I keep hearing on the radio - I think it's for insurance - "we're getting married!" (Friends all yell YAY!) "We got the house!" (Friends all yell YAY!) "We're having a baby!" (Friends all yell YAY!) Every time I hear it I think, "well good for you that you're life has gone just damn smooth." I know, I'm oversensitive!

My favorite is still the Android commercial with the animals.
