Advice for those with the GracoBaby Travel System

For anyone else who may have purchased the GracoBaby FastAction Fold Click Connect Travel System and has yet to assemble it, let me try and save you an hour or two of frustration, tears, and general questioning your ability to be a parent:

The tray table has to be connected when you click the car seat into the stroller. Let me repeat myself: HAS. TO. BE. CONNECTED. Don't be like me and try and think 2 steps ahead (as in "an infant isn't going to be using a tray table for a while yet, so to keep this whole thing as simple and un-bells-and-whistles-like as possible, I'll just leave that aside until she can actually use it") - resist the temptation. Just do it the way they tell you to.

They really should make it clear somewhere that that is a vital part of it all. Ain't nothing pretty about a 32 week pregnant, exhausted, back hurting, first time mom-to-be sitting on the nursery floor sobbing her heart out because how is she supposed to be a good parent if she can't even get the car seat to click in to place.

Seriously.

Aww, I'm sorry! H put ours together a log time ago and just made it with the tray on so I did t have that problem.

I did have issues getting the bar on the bar seat up though. And the bouncer out of the swing. Yikes.

I'm sorry for your troubles, but I appreciate this announcement! We're getting ours this weekend at our shower (yes, I'm a cheater and looked at our registry ahead of time). I would have totally been crying on the floor freaking out about my ability to be a good parent if it was taking me that long to put it together too.

Who am I kidding? I feel like pregnancy brain is so real that I can't figure out anything anymore. DH and I put our co-sleeper together yesterday and thank goodness I had his help because I couldn't figure out the damn instructions. Hah.

We put ours together a while ago and can't remember if we had this problem! I know we just tried to remove the table and it wouldn't budge. We just left it together in the box so we wouldn't have to reassemble. haaha
