I tried to post tjis earlier and accidentally put it on GKU. Thankfully they laughed it off and are letting it die.
I applied to a job at the college my husband works for last night. Because that's what I do after my current job makes me feel bad and stressed. I doubt anything will come from it, but it eased my mind after such a terrible week. One more week of testing. Must survive.

A few years ago I was working a full time and part time job to pay off debt. I'm a speech therapist and I had my own therapy room. At lunch I used to take naps under my huge desk. I even had pillows and a blanket.

I would give my right arm for that kind of setup these days! Soooooooo tired.
I was so tired yesterday I closed my office door and put my head in my hands and fell asleep. There's some white tint to the widows so people can still see in a bit - otherwise I would have just fallen asleep completely.

I'm picturing you as George Costanza right now.
When I was a massage therapist and I had a long break or a cancellation, I napped on the massage table. So great, even though it threw off my linen count sometimes.
I don't consider this a confession. It's not healthy to shower too much. Unless I'm actually dirty (meaning, yardwork, extra sweaty, mess from activity), I don't shower every day either. It's bad for your skin. I wash my hair as little as possible too - no more than twice a week, unless it's actually dirty.

agreed on most accounts. It's my confession because today in the break room at work there was a long discussion about people not showering everyday being dirty. Apparently, I'm dirty. I didn't tell them.
PaperRing, I also don't shower every day. It's too much for my naturally curly hair. Also it's too much work.
Yup another curl girl here. I only wash my hair 1-2x a week. It's better for my hair plus it justifies the stupidly expensive shampoo and conditioner I buy.
I also only shave my legs about once a month (maybe twice a month in the summer). It sounds gross but I really just dont grow a lot of leg hair. I told DH that recently and he didn't even believe me!

I don't shower daily either, unless I have to (working out, etc.). On the off-days I rinse my face and use baby wipes on my pits and crotch, and I'm good to go. Your coworkers are weird.

Most of them are huge germaphobes, too. I like to tell them they have weaker immune systems than me because of it.
Edit to clarify: not the showering. They don't know about that. But the other great lengths they go to in order to avoid germs. I.e. holding restaurant menus with your napkin and never with your bare hands.
Since my last confession was weak because everyone does it, here's another. I'm happy that my son won't be able to be in the military because he has asthma. It's a relief to not worry about that.
I totally shower more than once most days. I shower in the morning before to wake myself up. It's a quick rinse. Then I shower again after my workout in the evening to actually clean my gross post workout self. Most showers taken in a day- three. Ironman training, lots of sweaty grossness.

I buy lemon scented cleaners because my husband likes them but also because I can give a few quick lemon scented swipes on different surfaces and let my uber neat husband think I've done a deeper clean than I have. I have a cleaning schedule but on tough toddler days, sometimes I need a little me time and the toilets will wait a day or two. I'll be using this technique to combat first tri exhaustion as long as I can tolerate the smell.
