Has anyone had a UTI during this or previous pregnancies?
I've never had a UTI at all and don't know for sure if that's what I'm feeling. It doesn't hurt when I go to the bathroom, but I can't ever fully empty my bladder and I feel like I'm going to pee my pants two minutes after I go.
Im going to call my OB in the morning, but was hoping someone could share some insight?
I've never had one while pregnant, but anytime I've had one they are painful and I've gotten an antibiotic for it. I hear that if you think you have one you can drink cranberry juice to help, but then still talk to your doctor as soon as you can.
I haven't had one for a long time, but I remember that I always had the feeling of having to pee and then not being able to. I know cranberry juice helps.
I only get utis while pregnant. Had them constantly. I never would know I had them, and I'd end up getting tested and have it. Couldn't tell you any symptoms I had?? But every time I had an ultrasound they would tell me how huge my bladder was (.. Uhh thanks?). I learned to stay in the toilet a little longer and lean forward when I thought I was done. It's helped with getting a little more pee to empty out
Sounds like you need to get checked out to be safe. To clear up the misinformation here, cranberry juice is not a treatment for a UTI. There is some component of cranberries that might help prevent them by making it more difficult for bacteria to adhere to the bladder wall, but studies show that drinking cranberry juice doesn't make any significant difference. Drink cranberry juice if you want to drink it, but it's not going to help you if you have an infection.

I had a uti last pregnancy and it was like what you're describing. I got an antibiotic from my ob and they told me to increase my water intake to help flush out my system.
Yikes. Sorry to spread misinformation. Like I said it was just something I heard. I always went to a doctor.
You said to go to dr which was right, I just didn't want her to only drink cranberry juice and let the UTI get out of control and get a kidney infection. I know this from experience. I thought if I drank a ridiculous amount of cranberry juice it would go away in college. Instead I got a horrible kidney infection. I was so sick.

I've had a few UTIs and for me the symptoms were pretty similar to what you describe - having to pee, peering only a little bit, and then feeling like I need to pee immediately after getting up from the toilet. From what I understand mine were "mild" in that I did not have pain while urinating and what i would do to help relieve it as I waited for the doctor appointment is to chug tons of water. Cran juice too but mostly huge amounts of water because the volume would finally fill up my bladder and let me have a big pee, which was really relieving!
Hope you feel better soon, UTIs are so frustrating!
R w kudnsen makes just cranberry it will turn your face inside out but that ocean spray junk is just water sugar and a splash of cranberry don't waste your time with that. I find it in the organic section in Kroger and a local grocery

I've only gotten them when pregnant. Same symptoms as you and I never had any pain. Mine got so bad though that my bladder would have spasms when I was done going and I was getting dehydrated from throwing up in pain. Id definitely get checked.
Also, I highly recommend taking a probiotic with an antibiotic. I got c-difficile after two sets of antibiotics. It was horrible.
