1. We're dog sitting this week and I'm counting down the days til they go home. It's super stressful in a small house with 3 dogs, a cat, and a toddler.
2. I've been really stressed out lately and feeling very negative about everything. I'm in a funk
3. I'm thinking of getting a haircut since I'm way overdue for one. I'm hoping that will give my mood a boost.
4. LO has been super cranky lately and I believe she will be cutting her bottom canine teeth soon since her gums are swollen.
5. It's supposed to rain all week, I guess I shouldn't complain since last week the weather was perfect!
6. LO has been wanting to sit at the kitchen table like a big girl to eat. Could we really be ready to put away her highchair already? Gosh, when did our LOs get so big?
7. LO loves to help me unload the dishwasher, cook, and sweep. She such a good helper.
8. My mom and I were invited to my step sisters bridal shower that would require a 4 hour drive each way. My mom doesn't want to go for a couple of reasons and I feel bad not going but I think I'm going to tell her I'm not. It's too far of a drive for a day trip by myself so hopefully she will understand.
9. DH has been complaining about how much LO has been whining and throwing fits when out in public. I think he thinks she will always be well behaved and patient, I think he's in for a rude awakening.
10. We've finally made the decision that we are not going to buy a family members house. I'm happy we've finally decided on that and can now move forward with actively looking for a new house.

1. DD eats as much for breakfast as I do. Seriously, the girl has such a big appetite for someone so small.
2. DH brought me home a gorgeous bouquet of roses yesterday.
3. My cravings have been out of control this week. I just want to eat everything, all day long. I've been avoiding the grocery store because I know I'll leave with way too much junk food.
4. Today is supposed to be gorgeous. I'm so excited that we can finally use our backyard.
5. My friend that joins me at the gym has been cancelling last minute so much lately. It's hard to find the motivation when you are this pregnant and know you have to go workout alone.
6. My neighbour throws so much garbage into our yard. He denies it, but my backyard is littered with cigarette butts and we don't smoke. I'm going to start throwing our dog crap into his yard… haha.
7. I washed and hung up all of the 0-6 month outfits yesterday. Oh my gosh, newborn clothes are tiny. Were our babies ever really that small?!?
8. DD slept in today! It would have been awesome, had my dog not started barking to be let out. I feel like if I ever want to have a good sleep I need to send my husband, dog, and kid away for a night. I'd probably still wake up early.
9. We are shopping for a new (to us) vehicle but haven't had much luck. I hope that we can find something before baby is born.
10. I want to bake cookies, but I'll end up eating them all myself…
1. I do NOT have gestational diabetes! I was seriously stressing over the 3 hour test I had Friday. I was convinced it was going to be bad. so...YAY!!
2. Today is DH and officemate's birthday. I've already had cheesecake this morning to celebrate at work, and am planning on making brownies tonight for DH. Thank goodness, I do not have GD! Today just is not the day lol.
3. DH actually asked me to cook his birthday meal tonight! that is huge! In almost 6 years of marriage +3 of dating, he never wanted to eat anything I made so I quit trying. Recently we've had to start eating at home more for financial reasons and he has turned completely around and prefers home cooking!!
4. Thank you all for the well wishes last week regarding his job. He got a new one and started yesterday. It's a pretty big pay cut but it's better than unemployment or nothing so we are extremely grateful!
5. He didn't even miss a check b/c he was off work for 2 weeks but got a 2 week severance from his last job. So yay for that!
6. DD actually went to daycare with a ponytail today! She looked adorbs! She rarely lets me put anything in her hair, but this is day 2 this week of cute accessories.
7. DH is really concerned about taking care of DD by himself when I am in the hospital for LO2. He's convinced she will be really hard to handle b/c she just wants mommy all the time. Any suggestions on helping that? We have been trying to make sure he is more involved in the daily routine and we have about 3 months left but honestly, I'm a little nervous too.
8. My parents are coming in to town this weekend. They'll be here 5 days! I'm excited b/c while I have to work, my mom is probably going to take DD on a grandma/granddaughter outing. I think it will be so much fun for both of them!
9. I love family dinners now. Since we cook/eat at home now, we actually sit at the table, with no tv, and enjoy each other. It's sad that it's taken this long, but we were notorious for drive thru food in front of the TV. We're all enjoying our quiet meals together so much more!
10. I feel like I'm just now growing up...lol, cooking for my family has been such a big deal to me. I feel silly b/c most people (especially with kids) have been doing this forever but for me it's like an adventure lol
carli Yay for no GD and your H getting a new job! Good things!
For your H taking care of DD, can you start now with small things? Does he ever take her for a few hours while you do something else? If not, that's where I would start. Have him take her to do fun things for short amounts of time. Then work into more routine things like bed time. I think most importantly, you have to be unavailable. You will be tempted to jump in and help and he will be tempted to ask you for help. If you are out of the house, they both just have to figure it out. You have 3 months, so I think they should be pretty comfortable by the time you have #2. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it too much. They will have to make it work and as long as he keeps her alive (and I don't think you are concerned about that), it's just a few days. Once you've been gone for a while, she'll probably get used to it.
Thanks. Honestly, he hasn't taken her on his own a whole lot but has started to recently b/c we realized he and she need to get more used to each other without me around b/c you just never know when or how long I could end up in the hospital. I'm sure they will figure it out, and I'm totally not overly worried about how exactly he will get things done just that he's so worried about it makes me a bit more worried lol. Anyway, your advice seems to fit what we've discussed so we'll likely just keep working on that. Luckily we have daycare so if it's weekdays that I'm in the hospital, it's just bedtime and morning routine he'll need to take over.
jnetx we do have other care lined up but they planned a 2 week vacation to Hawaii the 2 weeks before my expected csection date so we're just making sure DH is prepared in case plans have to change.
In my opinion he ought to be prepared anyway bc anything could happen with or without a pregnancy. A typed plan is a great idea though. I will probably work on that tomorrow bc I think my mom is going to keep her one day next week just for fun while they're in town. I'm sure it'll be useful to at least know her schedule
4. Took a personal day off last Friday to spend it with my mom. We went shopping and I got my hair highlighted. My hair looks great, too!
5. It takes so much work and planning to take the day off from work. I may or may not get a substitute. Even worse my sub gets pulled to cover for a classroom teacher.
6. I had an interview for a middle school ESOL position.
7. I have my weekly grade level team meeting. 7:30am. Ugh! Not the 7:30am (well maybe a little). Just the meeting itself. I can't make these teachers happy. Always questioning everything I do.

A day late, but here goes:
1) I had my follow up ultrasound yesterday (rechecking on kidneys) and the problem that was supposed to resolve on its own didn't. Which means I have to go to a specialist. 2) I'm waiting on my Dr to call back and let me know when the specialist appointment happens. 3) We finally got our pre approval done, so now we are getting super serious about house hunting. 4) The idea of buying a new house, selling ours, and moving all while either very pregnant or with a newborn is super overwhelming. 5) My stress levels are through the roof-See the wtf post for yet another stressor 6) I have a gc for a massage/mani/pedi and after all of these stressful things ease up a bit, I am planning on a relaxing spa day. 7) I have been re watching Charmed and wishing they would bring it back. I love this show. 8) DD is teething again, and therefore not sleeping well. 9) It is only 40° today 10) I'll end on a happy note: My friend is in the hospital right now, being induced. I will get to snuggle new baby squish soon!

mommabakes - do you know how dilated the renal pelvis' were? For what it's worth, our Radiologists consider anything <4.5mm to be a normal variant. I'm only mentioning it because we do level-two follow ups from many outside OB offices for kidneys that measure in the normal variant range to begin with and don't really need additional follow up. I really hope that is the case for your LO. And if it isn't, the issue usually resolves fairly quickly after birth and usually only is followed with an ultrasound and KUB X-ray first before any more serious newborn testing. I wish you the best of luck! Sorry things seem to be hitting the fan all at once for you

Yeah, they are 7mm . Everything I've read says that it shouldn't be too serious, it's just so hard to not worry.

I'll be thinking and praying for your LO! Hopefully it will still resolve on its own before birth. Try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know)
