My first period post MC was 21 days. My period started again on 4/16 last week, as I expected it to based on temping etc. Yesterday I had no bleeding, no spotting, nothing. DH and I DTD and now I'm bleeding again. Is this normal for anyone else? I know the first period after a MC can be weird, but I was really hoping for a normal period this time, which for me is like 4-6 days. Thus I thought it was over yesterday. I'm so frustrated with my body.
Ugh I have no advice on this, but I know you are right. Post MC periods can be weird. My first was actually super light and my second was ridiculously heavy and long? My third was normal and then I got another BFP (that turned into a CP, so ugh). Hopefully it will just be today and then clear out? Could it just be from irritation your cervix? Had it been a while? (I hope that last question isn't too personal, I just know the only time I've spotted after sex it is from... disuse, haha). Fingers crossed it ends today!

Not personal. It had not been awhile. Just about a week. I haven't bled anymore since first thing this morning, but that's what it did last time too. I'm really hoping it stops. I just want to get things back to normal, especially because we are hoping to TTC again after my next cycle.
I had heard the first period could be heavier. Mine was slightly heavier, but fairly normal. The second one was terrible. It started and stopped and then went really, really heavy and lasted a few days longer.
Same for me. I'm 5 cycles from when my miscarriage happened and I finally feel they are back to my normal.
