Let's hear them ladies I'm so so soooo tired of people asking when I'm due and their look of shock when I say June. I've started saying the amount of weeks I have left because people seem to be able to handle that better. Less than 7 weeks is apparently much more acceptable than saying June. My hips/groin keep killing me slowly. It seems like every night, during one of my tossing from side to side trips, I move my leg too fast and pull a muscle right along the crease where my leg meets my crotch and holy mother does it hurt. It takes several minutes for the pain to go away. Wondering when I will get my group B test done - can't remember from last time. Finally, holy crap; grocery shopping with a 3 year old while pushing a giant "car" shopping cart, while 8 months pregnant, and carrying all the groceries up a flight of stairs into your house is no easy task!!! This mama is D-O-N-E done!!!
@demanda88, Yep, I've noticed more on my thighs and butt. I've read that pregnancy in general causes cellulite to appear, but fret not, it also states that some should go away after baby is born. Just in time for bathing suit season!
I do the Group B test at my next appointment which is next week at 34 weeks.
On a whole, I feel good - sure I have heartburn and had another 1:30 am nosebleed (luckily I was in the bathroom already, it was easier to clean up after I trailed blood all over the counter), sleep is a thing I vaguely remember and kiddo is trying to do his own reenactment of Alien by escaping via my belly button, but I have to admit I'm done with the "You're so huge!" and "Wow your pregnancy is taking forever!" comments. Thanks - that's what I want to hear
I'm not that big (I'd say I'm on scale with the other June moms in my yoga class), and sure, I was open about being pregnant pretty early, my coworkers all let their pregnancies be public at 12 weeks, of course mine will feel longer. I promise, it isn't. You've just known about it longer. I'm not even that done with being pregnant (today). I'm kinda liking my belly again -- until someone again mentions You are SO BIG.
DD has an ear infection. We just moved and don't have a family doctor so I might drive the 1.5 hours in the morning to see my step Dad's brother who is a family doctor in my hometown. I know its an ear infection but UGH poor girl. Trying to avoid urgent care. Thankfully she isn't miserable and doesn't seem bothered except when I try to check it.
I'm so annoyed. I'm not someone that eats lunch meat everyday, but I'm not refusing it either. Anyway, I had a lunch meat sandwich over the weekend when we were staying OOT with family and it was so good. So today I bought some (ham and salami, and cheese) while we were at the store. Like I mentioned in my OP, I was DEAD when I came home, so I went through the bags to put away the cold stuff and just left the rest there in the bags on the counter. This was around 12:30. About 5:00 I decided to put away the rest so I had room to make dinner and I find all of the lunch meat sitting in a bag with some chips and stuff. Ugh. I was sooo pissed!!! It still felt a bit chilled to the touch, but I should probably avoid it, huh? Ahhhhh!!! Damn you people that bag groceries and can't put like items together!!!!!
Tons of pain from my piriformis syndrome (stupid tiny muscle). H said "maaan, you really look pregnant today!" Gee, thanks, I feel every inch of it (at least he's rubbing my feet now).
I've been getting a lot of the "you're really due in June?!" Comments, too, along with "you're not going to make it!" Well, I certainly hope I will!

I have piriformis syndrome too! Soo painful, and Tylenol does nothing for it. I used to go to acupuncture for it, but my guy won't do it with me so pregnant. Can't wait until I can at least take Advil for it.

Pseudo-rant:
I just found out my sister, who did the invitations for my baby shower next Saturday, misspelled my MIL's email address. So she never got the invite, and has made plans to go on a trip that can't be refunded that weekend! She only found out because I asked her to follow up any outstanding RSVPs yesterday.
I'm trying not to be mad because it was so nice of my sister to do the invitations but I'm equally freaking out that now my MIL will be mad and feel left out because she can't come to my shower!
DH is really upset she isn't coming so I'm desperately trying to fix it. I offered to pay the cancellation fee to delay her trip. She hasn't gotten back to me yet. Shit!! The last thing I wanted out of this experience was to be in MIL's bad books. Even though it's not technically my fault, it falls back on me.
I'll be over in the corner breathing into a paper bag.

I feel pretty good today, was a bit sore last night but overall feeling pretty lucky. Really sick of people telling me what I can and can't do and giving me unsolicited advice about EVERYTHING pregnancy related.
honeybunches101 random but everytime i see your username and profile pic, I think of this commercial which makes me laugh every single time.
Haha awesome! DH and I used to call eachother honeybunches so when I picked a username for the knot ages ago I went with that! Picked the cereal logo pic so hopefully it would be more memorable than something random.
honeybunches101, only liking in solidarity! I'm going to a chiro now for it. He said they usually use electro therapy for it, but can't. So I use ice packs and I try Tylenol!
