DH went to leave for work this morning, and while his car started up just fine, it wouldn't drive. His car just passed the 100k mile mark and the warranty is now void. Seriously ?!? This couldn't happen last week when the warranty was still valid? Ugh! My stress levels are way up.
mommabakes I agree with sugarkissed! Hoping for an easy and cheap fix! And, that your day is great, inspite of the rough morning!
WTF lungs. Why do DD and I have such a hard time breathing at night? We were both coughing our heads off all night! Thank goodness for Starbucks this morning.

My WTF goes out to Kohl's, where there are ALWAYS coupons. I mean, always. That is half the reason why I shop there. But there are no coupons today. And to dig it in a little deeper, I just got a peel to reveal coupon in the mail this week, which I thought was valid, only a 15% but still better than paying regular price. So I went to exchange some shoes I bought for the kids, and DD hated all the other shoes I tried on her, so I had to return the ones I got a couple weeks ago with my 30%. And since I was there, I found some cute additions to my wardrobe and thought I'd use my 15%. I got to the register, realized I forgot the coupon (no problem. They ALWAYS have extra/honor it anyway at the register), and the salesgirl says "Oh, there aren't any coupons today. They start tomorrow. And there is a sale starting tomorrow. Oh, and we hand out Kohl's Cash tomorrow." WTF! But she saved it because just as I was about to tell her I didn't want any of it and take my now-cranky kids home for lunch and naps, she said "I'll honor the 15% since you thought it was for today." So I got the stuff, but I do have some buyer's remorse, though there is no way I'm dragging the kids back to Kohl's tomorrow, no matter what the sale is.
I needed this thread today. WTF NICU, you tell me that DD2s chest X-ray was fine on Thursday.
Today her right arm goes completely limp. I take her to the pediatrician and mention that she had a chest X-ray at the hospital that probably included the clavicle. Final X-ray interpretation: normal chest, suspect right clavicular fracture.
Clearly NICU doctor you gave no shits about reading the actual report and did a shitty job "reading" the X-ray yourself. I've been lifting and moving her without precautions for days, it would have been nice to know. Lots of complaints coming your way, NICU! (Did I mention I work for the Radiology group who read the X-ray properly?)

Holy moly fiveohfive, I'd be so upset!! I don't know much about clavicular fractures but I hope that it's nothing too serious. That little one has been through so much already!

Thank you ladies! She has an ortho appointment scheduled to get a second look at it, but from what I've read it's 50/50 whether the doctors let it heal naturally or attempt to fit her with a baby sling. Should be better in a month or so but I feel so bad for "manhandling" her
@fiveohfive I'm so sorry the doctor "missed" that on the x-ray. Ts&Ps your LO heals quickly.
mommabakes You have every right to be irritated about the car. Doesn't it just figure that would happen.
jnetx and redfraggle I was at Kohls shopping today as well. When you mentioned the Kohl's cash starting tomorrow I was half tempted to return my $60 worth of meechandise just so I could get the Kohl's cash tomorrow. It seems like there's always coupons/kohl's cash every time I'm not planning on shopping there but when I do plan to go there's no coupons/kohl's cash :/ .

OMG! Let them have it! DS had undiagnosed hip dysplasia for a year because his pedi kept dismissing me when I asked about his legs. Finally, I switched pedis, and we got him in treatment. It could have been so much less difficult if they'd caught it early. I'm so sorry you and your LO are dealing with this! T&Ps!
@fiveohfive I am so sorry this happened! I would be so upset and downright livid with the doctor who apparently didn't bother to read the entire report. I would be calling the hospital to file a complaint as well. Your poor LO, you have all been through enough already
