I love to read, so I don't think I could pick just one. If I could pick an entire series, I would chose The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. So a major mind fuck, but I love it.

Worst movie is without a doubt Anchorman. I cannot stand that movie.

Just one thing? That's hard. I would probably change the master bath. I would make it bigger, expand the shower, replace the cabinets, and get a bigger tub, preferably a Jacuzzi tub.

Favorite type of candy is definitely sour gummy worms. I could eat those things all day long.

I love reading. Ever since I was little. I can read for hours without stopping and have not a care in the world. My parents used to have to bribe to come eat dinner because I would refuse to put my book down.

My favorite cereal changes depending on my mood. Currently, it's fruit loops. Makes me feel like a kid again.

That's actually hard to answer though. I can think of a few doosies though. Some are about the diseases, while others are more situational.

Some good ones from med school:

First one: during one autopsy at the ME's office, we discovered that the patient's liver was almost completely replaced by cancer. To the point where the liver was too big to fit on the scale (we had to cut it in half) and it weighed over 15 pounds!

Second one: An elderly male patient once asked me if I would get in bed with him to "keep him warm".  Needless to say, I pretty much immediately told my resident and I was taken off his case.

From residency (thus far):

While on my surgical pathology rotation, I received the contents of a man's hernia.  Several pounds of omentum plus over 110cm of bowel. His hernia was so large that his scrotum hung to his KNEES. Now that's crazy.

I think this might be the next series I read. I love, love, love Stephen King. But, a lot of his books terrify me. I still get nervous around closed shower curtains since reading The Shining.

the Dark Tower series is not your typical Stephen King material. It's more along the lines of fantasy than horror. If you've read The Eye of the Dragon, it's similar to that.

Oh, I love our proposal story! We were watching the NASCAR truck series finale in November of 2011 in our living room. We were both lounging in our pajamas. During the race, we started talking about marriage again. He then spontaneously decided to propose. I was completely caught off guard and didn't believe him at first. I knew he had a ring, and was saving it for the right time. Since he didn't have pockets in his pajamas, I didn't think he had it on him. Little did I know that he had shown the ring to a friend of mine earlier than day when she had come over to visit. He didn't have time to hide it again, so he put it in his coat pocket. So he surprised me by going to the kitchen and pulling the ring out of his coat. I love how spontaneous the whole thing was, especially since I am definitely not spontaneous.

My favorite class in college is hard to pick. I majored in forensic science, so pretty much every class was hands on and awesome. One of the best ones was a crime scene investigation course, where the big project at the end was a mock crime scene investigation followed by mock court proceedings.

My favorite restaurant is the Melting Pot. The one here in town has a happy hour Sunday through Friday with unlimited cheese and chocolate fondue for 20 bucks per person. It is amazing.

And now I want cheese. Damn.

Still pathology. I was never very interested in the more clinics specialties. I find the dead much more interesting than the living.

DH works in IT. He runs the help desk for a local investment bank. He's handy to have around, that's for sure.
