I have a few things in there but not completely packed yet! I have some nursing and sanitary pads. I still need to get a night gown for hospital as I don't own one.
I have a hospital bag that is always packed and ready to go because of my stomach issues, so I've just got to get a couple baby-specific things to add to it and I'm done! I do need to get a couple of nightgowns though, because I don't have any and I've heard that's all you want to wear after a c-section. Any c-section moms have experience with what works well and what doesn't as far as PJs?
A modest nursing nightie the first two days, then XL pajama pants. The hospital gown rested on my windpipe, and there was no reliable/quick way to cover up when DS wasn't nursing. (I'd gone 2 1/2 nights without sleep by my first morning there - I didn't give a f*** about covering my shoulders, but some hospital volunteers sure did. If you care that much about people being presentable, try not barging in on them less than 8 hours after major abdominal surgery where they almost bled out and have been nursing a newborn all night. Grumble grumble.)
I've started gathering things. Right now everything is in a box in our closet. I'm thinking I'll really start working on putting it together in 2 or 3 weeks.
Mine is mostly packed, I just have to add a few last minute items. I was planning on waiting until closer to 35 weeks (to even start packing) but with the way my BP was slowly rising I decided I better have it done and ready early.

DH would probably have more peace of mind if I put together (he had a dream where it wasn't packed and was running around panicked). I'll do it when I start maternity leave. Most of what I want to bring are things I use too frequently to pack up already. I also have friends and/or family who can bring me anything I forget, so I'm not worried if I have to leave for the hospital without the essentials.
A close friend of mine put it best: "I've got it. I can bring anything you need - this isn't my first rodeo. I'll even throw your stupid dog in my car and take her to my house." My dog is terrible on car rides and would bark the whole way. That's love.
Started packing it this weekend. The only thing that made it in so far is baby's take home outfit in 2 sizes ( depending on hoe big she is in bringing one newborn set and one month old set.
Im planning to grab some of my supplies this weekend (disposable nursing pads, stretchy headbands, and any travel toiletries) DH will know what to bring but if baby comes early and he isn't here yet or something my Step Dad would probably drive me until my mom gets here if it's during the day. He wouldn't have a clue LOL. I'm also trying to pick a gift from baby to DD and special outfit for her too. I need to get busy LOL
Um, I bought a pretty new bag for this purpose. So that counts for something, right? The nurse that taught my birth class said to have it done by 36 weeks. So I've got 5 more weeks. I also have the same idea for the nursery. I don't have a car seat yet so that also somehow ties to it in my head.
I have ideas about what clothes I'm taking which includes a pair of yoga pants I currently enjoy wearing so I don't want to pack them. And I bought a pack of new underwear to pack. So, that's something?
Still slightly in denial that I'm having a kid. Not sure how I can be in denial because he's definitely coming. Eh. I'll figure it out later.
