Both babies are head down, so it looks like we're going to try a vaginal birth. I have an appointment on Monday (I'll be 38w4d) and doc said we'll talk about induction then (although he doesn't think I'll make it that far). At this point, I'm just ready to have them here!

I am scheduled! May 4th is baby day if I haven't gone on my own. DD was born a week early at 39w so I will be surprised to make it to 38+3 with twins (who are also measuring larger than DD)
Excited to have an official countdown!
I bow to you sugar4bri! You are in it to win it for sure
So excited for you! Best wishes to you both!!! It is shocking how amazing it feels to no longer be pregnant after going through the home stretch. Don't get me wrong- there are postpartum pains, for sure. But overall felt a million times better without two humans in me.

Way to go gals, you're both awesome!!
SassyPants150, Curious as to how long they gave you to see if Baby A would turn? At my last appointment, my OB scheduled a C section for 38 weeks (which is fine, she wanted to make sure we got a good morning time) and said we would know around 32 weeks if Baby A was head down - and after that, there isn't really room to turn so where they are is where they'll stay...
thesportsgal my docs gave me until 36 weeks to see if baby b would flip (which she did). They also said that I would be getting an u/s at every visit to make sure, you know, just in case she performs a magic trick

thesportsgal, my last u/s was at 36+3 and baby A had been breech for the last 6-8 weeks or so. They just scheduled my C/S for 38+3.
My OB did say that I can have them check just before to make sure nothing had changed even though it's very unlikely. I'm kind of torn on even checking. I feel like I'd rather just go ahead and stick with what I'm mentally prepared for especially since I have already had a vaginal birth experience with DD.
began TTC 2009 N&A, our b/g twins born and lost 3/7/12 at 20 weeks due to PPROM N (girl), 6/26/13 E&A (b/g twins), 4/5/15 BFP 3/27/17, EDD 12/3/17 IVF veteran with multiple losses - feel free to ask me about it.
Good luck ladies, the time is almost here. Yay SassyPants150 I was wondering if your little ones cooperated or not. But I def feel your frustration. If it means anything it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Today was my scheduled c section date, feels kinda weird.
sugar4bri, SassyPants150, woohoo to being in the final stretch! I join 3rd tri tomorrow and can hardly believe it! sugar4bri, hope babies stay head down and you have an easy delivery..... SassyPants150, May 4 will be here before you know it! Good luck! Wishing you a smooth delivery and quick recovery!
