Question for those of you with the thyroid knowledge

Honestly, in all my googling and my trip to "www.thyroidboards.com," I've learned that how YOU feel is as important or more important than your values.

I've also learned that T3 and T4 numbers are more important than TSH values.

You feel good and free T3/T4 are in range? Damn. Enjoy it.

Just out of curiosity, can you tell me where your T3 and T4 numbers fall on the range? My T4 is about 40% into the normal range while my T3 is only 20% in.

I feel like shit. I'm convinced it's because my T3 is low-normal.

No one cares. "Your numbers are normal!" I hate everyone.

Also, @emilie818 (Hi, imma stalker): Wasn't your TSH not terrible when you started? I thought you were only on 25 mcg, but now you're up to 75 mcg? Was your TSH slow to come down?

My TSH was at 13 but came down to 1 in record time on 25 mcg. I find this incredibly strange. I also find it strange that my T3 and T4 are still low in their ranges. I feel like my body is responding very strangely to all this.

There is a lot of conflicting ideas on TSH levels. I'm on team, "suppress until they feel good." However, you run the risk of going too far, which can be bad. It's really an art. If you feel good and you have no hyper symptoms I'd say that's great and keep up with your current management plan.

Most of what I've read says that people feel the best when their T3 and T4 are in the upper three quarters of the range. That's where you are. Enjoy it!

Also - one more thing! www.thyroidboards.com has a forum section that reminds me very much of here. They have a board for test results, Graves, Hashimotos, thyroid cancer, and more.

I'll be watching this thread as I was diagnosed Hypo Aug 14. I started with 50 mcg and was just put on 75mcg. I feel good. I found some sites on TTC and being hypo. When I get on my laptop I can post links. ETA: I found these two sites below to be helpful to me.
