Glad you asked this, I need to pick a tentative stop date this week!
I'm due 10/9 but will deliver between 36-37 weeks if all goes well and we make it that far. Ideally I'd like to stop working around 33-34 weeks but we'll see, my mat leave is super complicated so I need to sit down and figure out what we can afford.
I'm due Sept 6th but I believe my doctor said she wouldn't let me go too far past 38 weeks if I make it that far, so August 23rdish. I told my work to have a plan in place and assume I won't be there from mid July on, though I intend/ hope to work as close to the end as I possibly can. I'm trying to prepare them for the possibility that I may be out earlier. While I am at a desk all day, my job is high stress (finance/ trading) so I don't know how well I'll deal with that towards the end.
My DD is July 20.....my OB/MFM won't let me go past 38 weeks. I told my boss I would be going on maternity leave July 1. Not sure I'll make it that far, but I can hope!
My c-section was scheduled for a monday (37w6d) and I worked until the Friday before. I'm Did tell them that there was a possibility for bed rest and being written out of work earlier though. I work in a male dominated field and only 5 ft even so everyone was convinced I wasnt going to make my 38 week "due date" based on the size of my tummy. I had a desk job and the most walking i did was from the car to my desk. Lol.
I'm not planning a specific date because I don't think my plan will work :-P.
I'm luck that I have that luxury. I'm hourly and have no set hours, so whenever I need to cut back or stop working that's when I do it. I also have the option to work from home. I will be doing that very part time after maternity leave.

My water broke at work at 34w.
I had every intention of working up until the last minute bc I wanted to save up all of my leave for after the babies were born.
I was dx w mild pre-e at 32w and starting WFH 2x a week. At that point, I started getting my things in order so that whoever would be picking up my slack could figure out what I was doing. My job is pretty specialized, so my coworkers were taking on my work while I was out.
My work is very flexible and I always approached it that I would work as long as I was able and that I intended to stay until the end. Guess I followed though on that, haha!
I work full time from home so I plan on working right up as far as I can. Babies will come by July 9th at the latest so if anything I might stop after the 4th of July.
Luckily, I'm a teacher and my last teaching day before summer will be at 29 weeks. After that, I plan to really cut back my activities and just focus on growing these babies!
I'm a teacher, and I'm DRAGGING! It's really really hard to walk around school. Luckily I am able to sit most of the day, but even getting to work has been exhausting. I'm 31w4d today. The school year ends May 22nd. I'm REALLY hoping to make it a til then working (and otherwise G-dwilling) but I'm not so sure. Coupled with the weather we are expecting in the next few weeks (high 90's into the 100's) I'm not sure what to do!
