Good morning Ladies,

Hope you had a good weekend!

Two work instances that are super annoying have already happened today and DD was up 6 times last night, I actually counted because I needed to torture myself, LOL!

I wanted to be healthy and ordered an oatmeal this morning at McDonalds and ended up with someone else's order which was a hash brown and bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a bagel, WHOOPS, so much for the healthy option!

How are you all doing today??

Meh. I am at work, so there's that.

It sounds like you got the better deal with the breakfast mix up to me.

We bought this little baby pool/ splash pad type thing and it was really nice out on Saturday, so we got that out and DS played on it for a bit. That was really fun.

Nothing else really happening here.

I felt like I didn't have a weekend, we spent all day Saturday and Sunday searching for a new area rug.

Yesterday afternoon we finally picked one, it was at the first stop we made to look on Saturday. Sigh all that time wasted.

I work on the 5th floor in my building, and today not paying attention I rode the elevator all the way up, missed my floor, and rode it all the way back down.

I always dislike Monday!

My morning has been going surprisingly great. The little girl I babysit is sick so she stayed home today. Her dad didn't decide to keep her home until I was already up and dressed. So, it is 11:30 and we already went grocery shopping and I have already made some baby muffins.

Bring on the rest of the day!


EDIT - I just realized I forget two things at the grocery store. I guess we will be heading back there this afternoon.

Today bites. Dh and I are kind of struggling lately and it hurts. I'm so ready to be done bfing and have been trying for the entire month of April to go from ebf to at least taking a bottle some and adding some formula in because I can tell my supply has dropped and I'm just not motivated enough to continue. I constantly spend the day with my boobs out bf and it's been this way for over 7 months. I'm totally frustrated. ?

Sorry you are having a hard time. 7 months bfing is great. Better than what I did. How is your lo handling the formula? I hope well. Don't feel guilty if it is time to stop. I sure struggled with that. A less stressed momma is a good thing too.

He looks at me like I'm trying to poison him when I give him formula and screams. He has only taken an ounce maybe in a month. I really just don't know how to get him to transition. I don't have guilt really about stopping bfing because I have done a mix with each of my kids and started with only formula on my 13 yr old and bf each one longer than the last. The downfall with each one has been my ability to continue because of their need to eat every two hours at night. I'm exhausted. It'll work out eventually but it's so hard now.

I have a training session I need to attend this evening but I really don't want to go. LO got up at 5:15 and hasn't napped at all this afternoon. My sinuses are swollen and painful...am I allowed to call it a (wo)man-cold and curl up on the couch with Netflix tonight?

I'm sorry you are struggling thelittlesrunmylife. I have been thinking about potentially giving in also. I think my supply has dipped, I had it going so well too! And I keep forgetting to do all my pump sessions at work, hence the dip.

Whatever you decide, you have a heathy happy LO, if he will take the formula

You guys are the best! He finally decided that formula wasn't so bad and took a few bottles! Yay! I am cutting way back on bfing him and giving him mainly bottles but holy crap I had totally forgotten how painful skipping so many feeds can be so I gave in just enough to help him get back to sleep. I also forgot what a pain in the butt bottles are! Looks like I can't win. ? Things are looking a little better now that he isn't being quite so stubborn.

Next task: getting the mid-size child out of my bed and into hers. She lasts about 3 hours in her own bed.
