June 1st-7th due date weekly check in?

Hi everyone! I know we have our ticker change daily but I was thinking since everyone is getting so close to their due date and some of us VERY CLOSE is their any interest in doing a weekly check in splitting June up by week? I'll start it off this week with any 1st weekers
A lot of us in the first week might end up having May babies!

Due date: June 7th!

Initial thoughts on if I'll be early or late:
I know it's all in our heads and there is no way to predict, but I feel like this baby girl is so settled in that she'll be close to my due date. I'm still out and about with tons of energy, able to hike in our neighborhood hills etc. Unless I suddenly hit a wall out of no where...for now I feel in for the long haul.
My doctor has a vacation planned 3 days after my due date though so that's on my mind.

Symptoms:
My main symptom is just massive cravings, burgers for breakfast, and hip pain when I'm sleeping at night. Also extreme laziness and inability to focus at work

Next appt:
Thursday May 7th.

Randoms: my boss is in India and china for 2 weeks so I'm loving that I can somewhat relax at work right now and not have to work long hours.

Any initial thoughts of if you feel you'll be early or late? Late. I was induced with DS be of GOD (2 days after my EDD), and he was already engaged at this point. This LO isn't even staying head down (she changes almost daily). Plus I think my EDD should be closer to the 10th based off when I think I Od.

Symptoms for the week? Reflux at night and hip/pelvic pain.

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow afternoon for 34 week appt.

Random thought of the day? I'm glad I have a cat because I didn't want to eat the entire can of tuna I opened nor did I want to save any of it.

Any initial thoughts of if you feel you'll be early or late? Pretty close to on time. DS was due 10/5 and I had him 9/30 but that was after a surprise membrane stripping. I think I would have made it to October had she not done the stripping without my permission.

Symptoms for the week? Had some back pain (pinching) yesterday but it's much better today.

Upcoming appointments? Friday check-up including the swab for strep B.

Random thought of the day? I'm hungry.

I dyed my hair on Saturday with just a root touch up. I say go for it! With my first I was super anal about everything and didn't dye my hair the entire 9 months because I was convinced i would harm the baby but this time around I've dyed my hair twice ( just not in first tri).

I keep thinking May baby because there are so many May bdays in our families on both sides. No scientific facts about it just my SS for the day.

Any initial thoughts of if you feel you'll be early or late? I really want to be early, but given history I will probably be late.  Which I am not excited about, because I do not want to share a birthday with the baby.  And it would keep my mom from going to my cousin's wedding.

Random thought of the day? We went out to dinner last night and this table of women across the restaurant called me over to tell me how adorable I am.  And am I having twins because they could see 2 buttcheeks? 
1) The baby wasn't moving at all or poking out.  So I have no idea what they think they saw.
2) Even if the baby was moving, I was ACROSS THE RESTAURANT, so there's no way they'd be able to make out distinct body parts.

Any initial thoughts of if you feel you'll be early or late? I change my opinion on this every day. Some days she is very low and I'm convinced she's falling out immediately. Other days, I feel great and think I'll probably be overdue. We'll see.

Symptoms for the week? Back pain, hip pain, and lots of BH.

Upcoming appointments? I had one today. The OB couldn't tell if she was head down, so I got a quick ultrasound. I was happy to see that her head wasn't as large as DD's at this point, so hopefully that's good news for my birth canal.

Random thought of the day? I keep thinking that I should probably buy some diapers, wash the baby clothes, and get my rock n play and breast friend from my BFF soon, but I guess I'm too lazy. I'm also feeling a little terrified that it's all so real at this point, so I just keep telling myself I have plenty of time.

Due date: June 7th

Initial thoughts: probably early since this little one already tried coming last week. They said after I hit 36 weeks they won't stop labor. Ahhhh!! That's like two weeks away!!

Symptoms: oh just the normal no sleep always peeing back hip pelvic pain I think we all have right now..

Appt: may 5th my birthday! They will check my cervix for the first time at this appt. yay..

Random thought: I am too tired for this shit today..

It isn't so much the fear of hair coloring...just the laziness of having to get up to do it! Lol. I'm a blonde brunette so I've had to do a root touchup or 2 to avoid looking really awful...although I tried to pass my dirty roots off as ombre for the first tri. No one bought it.

Oh that makes sense! I'm a light brown so I can just buy the box hair dye and it takes 10 minutes to do at home. It doesn't look amazing but at this point in my pregnancy I'm just not into going to the salon for 3 hours and paying. $200 for the highlights and the base color.

DH asked if I was certain that this is our last pregnancy. I'm more than a little freaked because a) we agreed yes, b) 34w pregnant is no time to ask a woman if she's "done" and c) I could actually see us with 3 kiddos. But, no. I need to be done. Being AMA this time around is no joke and I'm a "young" AMA.

Any initial thoughts of if you feel you'll be early or late? I went to 42 weeks with DD, so I'm telling myself that I'll go late again to mentally prepare myself in case I am. If this baby is early I'll probably be caught totally off guard! Haha.

Symptoms for the week? All that I want to do in life is eat and sleep... I'm always hungry and tired. Heartburn has also returned, but otherwise I feel pretty good!

Upcoming appointments? 35 week check up on Thursday. After that, I think it will be weekly visits!

Random thought of the day? I have way too much to do before this kid arrives...

Any initial thoughts of if you feel you'll be early or late? I've heard over and over that FTM are usually late, so I've been expecting to go two weeks late. Come to find out my OB won't let me go past 41 weeks and will schedule an induction if I go past my due date. So now I just have fingers crossed baby comes on time. My ILs are also going to be in town so I'd like them to meet baby. A little early or a little late would be okay, but either one freaks me out for different reasons so I would prefer she come exactly on time. Lol good luck with that, right?

Symptoms for the week?I thought I was safe to say MS was over but I should have known better. I was very sick last week. Could have been stress about the shower too. But catch me saying it's over ever again. I'm not jinxing myself any more. My feet have been very achey too but I'm hoping staying off them a couple of days might take care of that. Then there's always rhinitis, excessive mucous in my throat (ugh), back and hip pain. Etc

Upcoming appointments? My next one isn't until 4 May. I was meant to have one this week but it didn't work out. So much going on otherwise, I'm not complaining. I will be weekly throughout May, but just found out that the main doc I've been seeing (not my delivering OB but the one who helps out in the clinic) is going on vacation in May. Seriously?!

Random thought of the day? My head is a mess of them. My OB said at the last appt he won't do delayed cord clamping, which disappointed me. I forgot to ask the office when I was on the phone what qualifies as cramping because I have a dull ache in that general area but no tightness in my abdomen, so I don't think it's contractions, but when I called right back they had just gone on lunch so now I have to wait. We are so late doing our taxes and my DH is not sure what he wants to do with his life and that weighs on me.

Symptoms for the week? Back ache.. So much back ache and exhaustion.

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow?! I was supposed to get blood results today to see if I need further GD testing but midwife phoned me and said because the bloods had been done on Friday and they hadn't checked them until today that the blood had clotted?! So it's no good for testing - WTF?! So I now have to go in tomorrow for repeat bloods and it means I'll have to wait even longer for the results & then I have another appointment next week.

Random thought of the day? I'm going to give birth - ah!

Any initial thoughts of if you feel you'll be early or late? My mom was late with both my sister and me (and we were both 9+ lbs!), so I am expecting late. DH keeps saying, only 3 or 4 weeks to go and I get really mad... I'd rather this baby be on time or late than early.

Symptoms for the week? Horrible acid reflux. Puked up acid in the sink this morning. Thoroughly exhausted from lack of sleep.

Upcoming appointments? Thursday 35 week check-in and then weekly from there on out.

Random thought of the day? Just feel like I have a lot I still need to do, and it's also becoming harder to focus on work, knowing my days until mat leave are numbered!

Due Date: June 7
Initial Thoughts on being early or late: No gut feeling either way. Just nervous about how it will all go down. DD was a scheduled CS at 39+1, so who knows when she would've made an appearance on her own. If this baby goes back to breech, they'll likely take him around the 39 week mark too, so on my head I'm thinking about 5 weeks to go.
Symptoms: just started leaking colostrum while putting together the bouncer. Crazy. I never leaked early with DD (but still had great success BF, so FTM do NOT fret if that is your case), so I was pretty surprised. I think I've been for a few weeks though, because I've occasionally brushed my arm against a wet spot on my shirt, but my nipple always appeared dry. Today it just seemed lined up perfectly, so I decided to give it a squeeze and yep, big ol' drop of colostrum popped out.
Upcoming Appointments: 34 week check up on Wednesday.
Random Thought: I want to go shopping for the baby, but I don't need anything, and I don't have the energy to do it because it's so freaking uncomfortable.

I hear ya on the on time or late. But my reasoning is more so someone is here to watch DS. If my IL hasn't arrived we are in back up mode.

Symptoms for the week? Tonight I'm just feeling HUGE in my belly. Standing up is an effort, leaning over is almost impossible. Wow it's weird to have this big baby in me!! other than that the usual heartburn, hemorrhoids, peeing constantly!

Random thought of the day? I'm totally over sex, pretty much because of the huge basketball in my belly. So much maneuvering makes for not very sexy sexy-time.

Symptoms for the week? Bad lower back pain the past two days. It could be that I am measuring almost 3 weeks ahead with high amniotic fluid levels so my centre of gravity is definitely not over my feet right now! I had a bit of swelling of my feet late last week but that turned out to be from a bit too much walking one day.

Upcoming appointments? Today will be my last prenatal appointment with my OB. I can also pester him about making sure that the paperwork is in to the hospital for my c-section. I called the hospital yesterday to find out about my pre-op bloodwork appointment and they had no record of my c-section, no record that I had transferred care from a mid-wife to an OB and the only date they had listed was my original due date!

Random thought of the day? I'm wondering how many months it will be before I get a full night of sleep again and how many months has it been since I have had 2 full nights of sleep in a row.

Yikes!  I'm so sorry you're having to deal with that.  I wish you all the best of luck.  You have a bunch of supports already in place right?  Like the LC, pediatrician, recs for OT and stuff?  Have they given you any idea as to how long they think she'll have to stay?  Or is it a wait and see estimation?

Symptoms for the week? Still battling carpal tunnel from finger tips to the armpit, fatigue

Upcoming appointments? Steroid injections in the wrist by the hand specialist to try and help the carpal tunnel... wish me luck! OB next week for 36 weeks, ultrasound, GBS test. Trying to decide if I will decline the cervical checks...
