Is anyone's LO still in the infant seat? DD will be 1 in a week, but she is tiny and still fits in her infant seat. We have a convertible seat for the next stage, I just haven't felt like dragging it out of the attic (I forgot how tired and unmotivated first tri makes you!). As long as she is still within the height and weight limit of the infant seat, is there any immediate rush to switch?

Ok, seriously, WTF. I swear I was on May 14 and now TWICE this has posted in the wrong place. I'm having a moment here. Time to stop probing for the day. Lol.
Wrong place or not, if it makes you feel better, my girls are tiny (like 5% for their weight and height, same as I was at their age). They are 20 months old and DH and I are just now switching to the convertible seats (still rear facing - I don't even know if Kayla meets the weight requirements for forward facing, plus rear facing is just safer).
If she's happy in her infant seat and still within the height/weight restrictions, there's no real reason to move her.
We switched DD to a convertible (RFing) at 6 months because she HATED her infant bucket seat. My twins have been in convertibles from the beginning, because that's the only way we could fit three across in our old car.
My twins are still in bucket seats and they will be 11 months next week. I figure, as long as they will stay in them, I will keep them because it is more convenient to buckle them in the house and carry them safely out than it is to get them into carseats outside.
My twins were in their buckets until 18 months. It was just logistically easier getting them in and out of the house in them. dS2 is 16 months and still in the bucket for the same reason. I love being able to buckle in the house before we leave. He is s getting close to the limit though so I'm going to have to give it up soon.

Twins in buckets until they could walk well - like 15/16 mo. Singleton we switched at around 7/8 mo. We have street and driveway parking - no attached garage (old house)
